I will no longer take my car in for the FREE State Inspections they offer to customers who purchase a vehicle from them. Southern quoted me over $15,000 and failed my State Inspection. I took the list of recommendations and reasons for a failed inspection to Rummel's and they found nothing wrong, except my front tires being a little worn (which they said don't need to be replaced just yet.) Dealerships will try to tell you they have stricter guidelines they have to follow, but any reputable repair shop will tell you that's xx, they have the same guidelines as everyone else. Rummel's stays busy; it took me 2 weeks to get my vehicle in, but I'll take a failed inspection sticker for 2 weeks and a $20 fee for an inspection over $15,000 in repairs that I don't need. If you're looking for an honest, trustworthy mechanic...Rummel's is your place! More

I felt a difference when I first walked in and how you greeted me. I was thinking this person is prepared, knows exactly what i am coming in for, asks confirming questions and is actually really listening to me. That has so often not been my experience. Which ever Tech called me to let me know it wouldn't be ready until tomorrow helped me understand it was so you could finish tracking down the problem and get it right for me. He apologized that is would take longer and made no excuses. So happy you were on duty when i walked in. More
