I was there until almost 11 when I had to ask for them to just give me my car if they weren't done. They told me they didn't have the oil and was waiting for it. But no one gave me an update the entire time I was sitting. Then they tell me my car was done and it was being brought down from the lift once I asked for it to be brought to me. Still waited another 15-20 mins before they even got my car to me. I was very disappointed. The least someone could have done was update me or let me know and I would have just come another time. (REASON #1) I brought my 2015 GMC, Yukon XL and 2017 December. love the truck And I take very good care of it with all my maintenance and free oil changes but 4 times that I have taken my truck to get December. love the truck And I take very good care of it with all my maintenance and free oil changes but 4 times that I have taken my truck to get serviced, They have put my family and I in harms way, and privided continuous poor customer service. The first time I went to buy 4 Brand new tires and upon picking up my truck and driving home is started. Sputtering so I called the dealership and told them that I was bringing it back to the shop, while I'm bringing it back a lady calls me on the phone and says I see you have your 2015 here at the service department would you like to sell it to us and I said no, I love my truck. She told me that I can see that you need repairs on your fuel Injector before I could even bring my truck back to the shop. That struck me as odd?? She quoted me with price of 1600 dollars or so for the fuel injectors So I ask her? How did she come up with that price? When all I did was bring my truck in for 4 new tires. NOTE: If you are changing tires, how did you know my injector was messed up?? AND WHY DID YOU NOT TELL ME ABOUT THIS WHEN I CAME TO POCK IT UP!!! They sabatodged My vehicle expecting me to trade it back in For another vehicle When I came back to the service department raising xxxx about my ordeal and laid out the paper work proving that they did in fact set me up by putting me and my family in danger By checking me out with my sabotaged vehicle. I then went home and wrote a HORRIBLE REVIEW like this one then the service manager Called me up and asked me to return so they could Issue me a Loner vehicle while they REPLACED ALL 8 of my fuel injectors FOR FREE if i took the bad rating down Mind you only one of my fuel injectors was so called messed up WHY REPLACE ALL FOR FREE??? (REASON #2) I took my car in for a state inspection and the service coordinator TOMMY OR TOM FLEMMING (Slickster) wouldn't return calls so I took a trip to the dealership to personally check on my 2015 GMC YUKON and my and I drove past it in the lot and it had a passing inspection sticker on so I went on and asked why didn't anyone call me about my truck being ready and Tommy Flemming said it wasn't ready, I told him that I just rode passed it in the lot and it had a passing inspection sticker on it, he then proceeded to tell me that the brakes need to be done..... WHY PASS MY VEHICLE INSPECTION WHEN YOU STILL HAVE WORK TO DO ON IT??? this is not the way ANY service department does business. because the car has to be road tested in order to pass. So I received a phone call late that night that i could pick it up. but I was beyond livid so I had to leave it there overnight to pick up the following day. REASON#3 I took my YUKON XL to them back in April 2023 to have my rear AC fixed, dropped it off took a few days to fix it but it ran for 3 or 4 months and I was going to take it somewhere else to get it fixed but I PAID SOUTHER GMC SERVICE DEPARTMENT so I wanted to have it resolved. so i called and made an appointment for 11 September, i dropped it off early bird, on my ticket I checked that i wanted an oil change as well. Called later the day of 11th, all of the day on 12th no return phone call or updates on my vehicle. finally on the 13th I called then went up there and spoke to Tom or Tommy Flemming in service asking if my vehicle was available he said I just got the keys and don't know what was done, I asked if the oil was changed and he told me that I didn't ask for an oil change so I asked him for my early bird envelope, as he handed it to me I showed him. He said if I have an half hour he could get it done, I agreed because I needed my truck. when my truck was presented to me, the rear AC did not work and the tech said that in April he put a module on it but still needed a wiring harness wich was on back order. NO ONE INFORMED ME that my AC was half way fixed and still needed parts. NEEDLESS TO SAY, FREE OIL CHANGES AND STATE INSPECTIONS ISNT WORTH More
If you're looking for integrity and honesty, look elsewhere. This service department has a severe integrity problem, primarily on the part of their diesel service tech (whose name was never provided, elsewhere. This service department has a severe integrity problem, primarily on the part of their diesel service tech (whose name was never provided, they only call him "the service tech"). Took my truck in for an oil change. They do their 27 point inspection. Turns out that I'm driving a vehicle with no bushings in the control arm and it's "just hanging loose"! Imagine my shock! Wouldn't one think that this would drastically affect the drive of a 2500 series truck? I think it would! A disconnected control arm would be a drastic issue! So the service writer and I go to take a look. Guess what? Bushings are right where they're supposed to be. Arm is fully connected. Next issue in his "inspection" was that one of my fog lamps was out. Now I drive 125-150 miles a day. With my fogs on almost all the time. I'm very used to seeing them reflected in the back of the vehicle in front of me. I drove with them on today, and saw the lights clearly more than once. They were on when I pulled into the dealership. Upon further inspection, I discovered the wire from my LED to the light control harness was pulled out. Not on the truck side (because that would cause too much work), but on the light side. So all they'd have to do is change a bulb with a new harness and it's done (charging me $235 in the process). Previously, this same tech was asked to look and see why my tire was losing pressure. His diagnosis? Pitting along the tire seat of the wheel. $1250 please. Told them I'd go get a second opinion. Guess what? Wheel is fine. Was losing pressure due to a nail in the tire. A nail. $35 fix. Conveniently, the service tech came to work today, did my oil change and "inspection", and had to leave so I couldn't discuss this with him face to face. This dealership is a nightmare from the moment you walk on the lot. I'm not even getting into the fact that someone at this dealership ran 17 credit applications with my address with other peoples' names on them. I have the credit denial letters to prove this happened. No one will talk to me about it. How many other consumers have been scammed by this service tech or their credit department? We may never know. Stay far away from this criminal enterprise. More
I dropped my GMC Yukon off for service on Thursday morning for what was supposed to be 2 days of service. Friday afternoon I called several times but could get no status on my car. I left a message morning for what was supposed to be 2 days of service. Friday afternoon I called several times but could get no status on my car. I left a message but received no return call. Saturday morning I called again and was given an uncertain status as to possible parts orders. I called late Saturday afternoon but had to leave a message. It's mid afternoon on Monday now and I've received no return call from Friday or Saturday messages. Today I left a message for the service manager Kim Evans with no response. I can understand if a part is on order but the lack of communication betrays a lack of respect for their customers. I will never buy a car from these people again. Now it's midday on Tuesday and still no response to 3 voicemails I have left. No status on my car repair. I just left a message for Brett Lloyd the General Manager. Either he doesn't know that his employees don't return calls to customers and don't take the imitative to contact customers to give a status on a car repair that is now 3.5 days overdue, or he will set the example and not return my call either.
