Bad service. I traded a jeep in on 4/10/21 for a new GMC. Our salesman was great. The biggest problem with the whole transaction is that the jeep loan is still not paid off and a payment is due in 2 days. Acco salesman was great. The biggest problem with the whole transaction is that the jeep loan is still not paid off and a payment is due in 2 days. According to Marshall in finance, the original lender wouldn't do the loan due the protection package in the contract. You know that at the time of sale? They were in the process of changing lenders so couldn't pay off the jeep yet. I put a down payment greater than the payoff amount at the time of sale so there is no reason to not pay it off already. But the jeep is already sold. How do you sell a vehicle without the loan paid off so the title could be released? I feel like I have gotten the run around on this deal and that I have no choice to pay even more for a vehicle I no longer own to keep my credit in the good. Since the payoff amount has kept going up I wouldn't even get my extra payment back. I would think long and hard about doing a trade-in deal involving a payoff with this finance dept. More
