This is my second Honda purchased at Southeastern Honda, and I just would not go anywhere else to purchase my new car. I had spent the previous two weekends visiting car dealers in Melbourne looking for a safe reliable used car for my 20 year old daughter. Add in the 95+ degree/95% humidity weather and the HORRIBLE sales tactics practiced by several of the dealers we visited, and I was ready to give up and ask one of my brothers in N.Y. to find her a car up there and drive it down. I told my buddy Phil of the difficulty I was having finding a dealer in the area that would just give me a straight price for a good car and stick to it. He asked if I had gone to Southeastern Honda in Palm Bay and I told him that I had not, mainly because Palm Bay was pretty far away and I didn't want to waste an entire day going thru the same BS I had gone thru in Melbourne. He told me he had gone there 4 years ago to buy a 2006 Honda Civic and said they were straighforward, gave him an awesome price and there were no last-minute suprises or high pressure sales tactics, and they had also done a great job maintaining his Civic since the sale. I told Phil I would give them a try. I looked at their used car inventory on their website and found a used low mileage 2010 Honda Civic Coupe. I called the number and John (Used Car Manager) answered the phone. I had done my research on Kelly BB and Edmunds and knew approx what these cars were worth. At the Melbourne Dealers I had visited, they were asking about $4K OVER the BB value. I told John I was interested in the Civic, told him I had a very beat up/high-mileage trade, and asked for the Civic price out the door. John gave me a very very VERY fair price over the phone, and an even better (sight-unseen) price for my trade-in, so my wife and I drove down to Southeastern Honda. It was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Once we got there, our salesman (Gus Muhlbauer) came out and showed us the car. Like I said, it was well over 100 degrees with the Heat Index and we took a lot of his time while my wife and I were checking out the car. There was a 2009 Civic there as well that cost more than the 2010, but it had all the extras so we were going back and forth, trying to find the best deal. I'm sure we must have been driving Gus (and John) batty but Gus was very patient despite the heat/humidity and let us make the decision without any pushing, even though it was getting late and the dealership was closing. We finally decided on the 2010 model, and asked if they could come down a bit more from the already outstanding price John gave me on the phone. I expected Gus to come back and say "FORGET IT" but they came down an additional $ 400.00. There was a tiny screw in the tire and I could not be sure when the last oil change was done from the CARFAX, so I asked them to repair the tire and do an oil change. The agreed to do that later in the week so we bought the car. We did the paperwork with the Finance Manager (Howard). He was a real pro and took the time to explain everything and answer our questions, even though the dealership was closed by now. We discussed the extended warranty (which is a good one) and other programs they offered and we never felt like we were being pressured. On the way home I checked the tire pressure and the tire with the screw was very low, so I bought a can of "Tire Flat" and put it in the tire. When my daughter took the car back a few days later for the oil change/tire fix, we were informed that putting the "Tire Flat" in the tire had ruined the $ 300.00 Computer Tire Pressure sensor. Since that was completely my fault, and I was expecting to have to pay it for the repair out of my pocket, but they replaced it at no cost to us. I'm telling you, these folks were great from Gus to John to Howard. Maybe it's because they know they sell a great product and don't have to resort to bad-mouthing other dealers or the cars the others sell. When my youngest daughter is ready for her car I will take her to Southeastern Honda first! More

Our Salesman was very knowledgeable about the car we were looking at even though the dealership was a Honda Dealer. He did not preasure us and when we asked to drive the car a second time he had no problem looking at even though the dealership was a Honda Dealer. One thing that was very impressive was that he actually knew how much the car cost without having to go ask someone. We had been to some other dealerships that day and they all wanted you to sit down why they allegedlly research the price. Angel was our point of contact and was did not try to pursade us. He presented the information and allowed us to decide what we wanted. The Car we purchased was for my daughter and based on my experience I plan to return to this dealership to do business with out Salesman. In addition the finance Manager that helped us was also very helpful and extremely brief in his work. All in all the whole experience was outstanding. Angel was outstanding and I look forward to doing business again in the future. More

The price and towing capacity fit our needs, so I went home and started pricing on the Internet. Angel called me and quoted a very reasonable price for the car if we bought it off the lot. We went up, picked out the car, and bought it for the price he quoted. No hassle, no bargaining, no fooling around. Scott checked us out and we were on our way. My husband and I were very impressed with the honesty of Angel and the people at this dealership. Frankly, it was a first for us and it really was refreshing. Once entering the dealership I was greeted by Mr.Dolan. He was eager to help me find the car that was right for me. After looking at several cars and test drive I didn't see exactly what I was looking for. He was eager to help me find the car that was right for me. Mr.Dolan quickly searched the internet and found the exact color and extra options I was looking for in my Honda Accord. Before the end off the day my dream car was at the dealership.
