Went into Massapequa Nissan, I had called earlier and set an appointment with gene. Gene was a very nice gentleman made me feel very comfortable, we test drove the sentra and Altima. Didn't feel pressured an appointment with gene. Gene was a very nice gentleman made me feel very comfortable, we test drove the sentra and Altima. Didn't feel pressured by him at any time to purchase right away, will definitely go back to him once I decide what to do. More
ABSOLUTELY CROOKED!!! I brought my car in for its second inspection (failed the first time due to brakes and rotors, otherwise it would have passed). I put on new breaks and rotors on my own and brought it inspection (failed the first time due to brakes and rotors, otherwise it would have passed). I put on new breaks and rotors on my own and brought it to Nissan to inspect. They told me now it needs windshield wipers because they were torn (which they weren't when I brought it in) and it needs a new license plate bulb (which again wasn't a problem the first time around at inspection) for $100. I went in to pick up the car and told them I would fix it myself and bring it back, because they were asking for an outrageous amount of money for something simple. They told me it would be better if I found a local mechanic to go to in the future and that I wasn't welcome back. I was beside myself. I guess they are so busy ripping everyone else off that they don't need my business. What a horrid experience!!! More
If above catagory Overall experience had an option for very good instead of just good, I would have checked it! Had a couple of issues to work through with them and after spending some time with them and very good instead of just good, I would have checked it! Had a couple of issues to work through with them and after spending some time with them and discussing the issues, to their credit they stayed courteous and professional and solved our differences, gave us a good deal on a 2014 Altima and could not be nicer, which made my wife very happy. She loves her new car and feels good about doing business at this dealership with the above named people. There was also a couple of other people who helped along the process, they know who they are and thanks to all of you! Keep up the good work! More

Adult daughter went to buy a new Altima. Music so loud you can't concentrate (to their advantage so you get confused). Offer you a "deal" that is absolutely no "deal". Did they really think she was that you can't concentrate (to their advantage so you get confused). Offer you a "deal" that is absolutely no "deal". Did they really think she was that stupid that their zero % financing at 60 months worked out to be a good $50. more than it should have been. Also was told by Laura that the zero % was not available for the year car she wanted or the model. Then Mario came to try to close the deal and he told her of course it was available. He is the biggest BS artist going. Bait and switch see if you can tell what walnut shell the deal is under. Oops wrong again. It was constant bait and switch. Felt like we were involved in a con game. Yes my daughter did buy a car at another dealership. Got a better price, was treated like she should be treated, deal and delivery completed in a total of 2 hours and she got the exact vehicle she wanted with the exact color, equipment, price and financing. Will never set foot in this dealership again. Unfortunate it is convenient for her. It's worth the drive to go where you will be treated fairly. More

Avoid!!! My girlfriend wanted to trade in her 5th Nissan 5 months early. The salesman Matt gave her a price and she said she wanted to test drive another type of car before she did the deal. Matt left a voi 5 months early. The salesman Matt gave her a price and she said she wanted to test drive another type of car before she did the deal. Matt left a voicemail for her giving her an even better price. She went in to do the deal but sat at his desk ignored for 40 minutes. She asked Matt to call her tomorrow and left out of frustration with the fact that she was ignored. Matt never called. She called the sales manager two days later and was put on the line with Lou. Lou told her "you ain't getting the car at that price. Go buy the Hyundai. If it was such a good deal, why did you leave? And I don't care about the voicemail, you've got nothing in writing." We were in shock. How do you get someone to go from rolling models every two or three years into the arms of another company? Just take a lesson from Matt and Lou at Massapequa Nissan!! More
I do not even want to give them one star. 100% liars and terrible, terrible customer service. I leased a new car 5 weeks ago and they told me EVERYTHING I wanted to hear. I was ending an old lease early terrible, terrible customer service. I leased a new car 5 weeks ago and they told me EVERYTHING I wanted to hear. I was ending an old lease early to start a new lease. I was giving the car back a month early and expressed concern about my last payment. It was pushed aside until I finally sat down the the finance guy Vinny (terrible) who rushed me through the process. He told me to "just cancel my check" and I wouldn't have to worry about my last payment. Um, what?! No. So then he says, "Call Nissan finance, and they will apply the old payment to your new lease. They do it all the time." I was skeptical but my sales representative agreed and said Nissan does that all the time. Don't worry - just call them Monday (this was on a Sunday). I call Nissan Finance on Monday and they told me they never just "apply funds" from one lease to another and the dealership is well aware of this. I was very upset by this and spent the next two weeks calling the dealership trying to talk to someone about this. I got Vinny who told me he "couldn't believe Nissan Finance said that" and "they do it all the time." STILL trying to tell me that. He told me he would look in to it and get back to me. NEVER DID. I then tried contacting the Lease manager. Could not help me. I tried the manager of the WHOLE PLACE and he said "why are you calling ME of all people?" Literally said that. Really? Finally I received their survey in my email. Ripped them up because I am completely unsatisfied. I checked the box that says I would like to be contacted. Sophia, the customer service manager contacts me. She's so sorry. She can't believe it. She's going to look in to it. She's going to send me free car washes (woo ..hoo...). Not only did I never receive the car washes in the mail, I never heard back from her. Stay away. Stay far, far away. Huge liars that just want your money and will say anything they can do get it. After ten months of paying for a 2006 used Nissan loan for my nephew, in 2010, I walked into this dealership frazzled and uninformed. Very long story short, I had two trade-ins: my 2002 fully loaded 6 cy for my nephew, in 2010, I walked into this dealership frazzled and uninformed. Very long story short, I had two trade-ins: my 2002 fully loaded 6 cylinder Altima with 58,000. They gave me $4000 for my 2002 model (which now I know, even right now in 2013 is still worth about $9,000), and added on another $10,000 for my nephew's remaining loan on the 2006 to my lemon, basic 2010 Altima. I was ripped off, taken advantage of, and through all this, thief FRANK, car salesman, (and forced retired cop, excessive force) evilly smiled at me. Like taking candy from a kid. Upon reaching home, I realized I didn't have the itemized sales receipt. I called them; the chick that took care of finance refused to give me a copy of the sales receipt and insisted she had. To this day, I've never found it. I've never gotten over the bitter taste in my mouth, I can't forget the look on that evil man's face as he took advantage of me, and I would never recommend this place. Never ever go to a car dealership without first researching prices. Never ever tell the salesman what you could probably pay. Never ever purchase a basic model (doesn't even have fog lights) for 28,000...I know the story is incomplete, but it would take a book to explain. Don't shop at this place. Oh, yeah, and don't trust in-between people (I think he called himself 'The Edge' or something) that claim to negotiate for you; they work with these dealers and split the dough. Another rip-off. Don't allow anyone to pressure you, thoroughly research and if you need to walk out to clear your mind, do so. And then go somewhere else. More
