This was the worst experience I ever had in a dealership. I met with Cato and Mario to discuss a car purchase. I was going away so I needed to return and Mario indicated to me that I might be able to get a better price if I waited until President's day. I returned to the dealership a few days after president's day and met with Cato. Mario was not in so another sales manager met with me to discuss the purchase. His name was Chris. I reviewed the parameters of the deal that I discussed the prior week with Mario and also told him I had visited Huntington Nissan. He seemed agitated that I went to another dealership. ( I assume most people spend $40,000 on a car without checking prices?) I proceeded to discuss the sale and he said that he could not honor the price and I should go back to Huntington. (I told him that I wanted to buy the car at Massapequa since I live there) I said that wasn't really fair since they already gave me a price and they should honor it. He rudely repeated that I could leave and go to Huntington. I asked for his name and he refused to give me his last name. ( Probably has a lot of complaints) The General Manager then came over and told me that the Sales Manager did not have to give me his name and I could just leave. They gave me back my credit card and license. I left the dealership. I was highly insulted and will NEVER buy or recommend the local dealership to anyone. I will actually look for reasons to discredit. The treatment was unacceptable and these employees represent Nissan very poorly. I puschased the car from Atlantic Nissan which has the same owner but better employees. More
I went to massaoequa Nissan to buy a car to build my credit, in order to keep the monthly price down my fiancé had to cosign.the salesman told me after 10 payments I could come back and get into somethi credit, in order to keep the monthly price down my fiancé had to cosign.the salesman told me after 10 payments I could come back and get into something a little nicer. after 8 hours of being there with my three year old daughter we were called into the finance office and was told that the loan was completely in my fiancés name without her consent. I was so angry but already having 8 hours into it we went ahead with the deal. walking out of that place with a brand new sentra with 8 miles on it I felt like choking someone. anyway the Nissan sentra is the biggest piece of crap car on the road. about 4000 miles and I break down on the side of the road with my 4 year old in the freezing cold. so I called the dealership, they gave me a number to the tow truck co. the tow truck company towed the car to the wrong Nissan dealership. somehow that was my fault so it was up to me to get the car to them at my expense, and I cant have a loaner till that happens. so I get the car there and find out that the other dealership cleared the codes so there no way to find out what was wrong. 8000 miles it happened again that was a month and a half ago and still don't have the car back. there telling me the main engine harness went bad and its a backorder part. never heard of such a thing. this to me is just weird and ive been jerked around since I walked in the place. stupid me, im still considering staying with Nissan if they let me get out of the sentra lease and buy a used Nissan titan. hope they make this right or ill just bring my business else were and let every one know about my experience at Massapequa nissan More

The greeting and smiles coming out of this person are very in-lighting and so warm , With all my respect to her ,Massapequa Nissan has me as a customer for a long time being that I own 4 cars . When I was asked if I had any questions. I really didn't because she had answer all of them and explained everything I needed to know in regards to my service .. Massapequa Nissan Service did a very good job on hiring this young pretty lady. Keeps customers like myself coming back even if service is not needed. I dropped off my car at 8:00 am and picked it at 5:45 and Miss. Gloria still had a smile on her face. Very Nice !! Even after a long day. I love the service and staff. I traded in my old Nissan sentra for a new miss sentra I came in with an advertisement stating they were giving a certain amount over Kelley blue book value. So I sat down with said representative. He sweet came in with an advertisement stating they were giving a certain amount over Kelley blue book value. So I sat down with said representative. He sweet talked and swindled his way into the deal. I ended up getting talked into a lease with a payment way over what I was paying for my finance. Then told just bring the car in in two heads and get a new one. I don't think honesty and integrity is a factor when training thier employees. This is my third Nissan car and I'll tell you I will never ever purchase or lease a car from Nissan ever again. My family drives nissans and after my experience they won't be driving them for long. I have 7 months left on my lease. I can't wait to see how km going to get xxxxx when I hand in the car. I'd rather be thrown in a male prison naked then have to deal with this company again. It's a shame cause my business is recommending others different products and services. But you can be sure Nissan will not be a name coming out if my mouth. Oh btw. Nissan will be hearing from me too. More
Typical high volume dealership using bait and switch on their deals. These guys are more qualified for three card monte than sales! I feel bad for the people I saw in there who did not do their research their deals. These guys are more qualified for three card monte than sales! I feel bad for the people I saw in there who did not do their research and we're falling for their lame salesmanship. Expect to spend too much time there while they "try" to get you the best deal from their manager. Who does that anymore??? These guys are stuck in some bad 80's film and their tactics reflect that More
I brought my company owned Nissan Altima in for warranty work for three items, a rattle noise, and collapses arm rest and more importantly a dashboard warning light for the Vehicle Dynamic Control system (V work for three items, a rattle noise, and collapses arm rest and more importantly a dashboard warning light for the Vehicle Dynamic Control system (VDC). My car is still covered under the manufactures warranty. The rattle was fixed and an armrest pad was ordered. The problem was the VDC light. The dealership called me and informed me that the problem was that the brake fluid was low and that triggered the VDC light to come on. I said to them that Nissan owner’s manual says that if the brake fluid is low the ABS/BRAKE light will come on. The manual says that if the VDC light comes on bring your car to Nissan for servicing. Massapequa Nissan said that the reason the brake fluid was low was because the brakes were CLOSE for a change with the rear brakes worse than the front brakes, BUT still not yet a must due item. Massapequa Nissan said that because the trouble (low brake fluid) was not covered under warranty, I would have to pay $120.00 for a diagnostic fee. With this particular light (Vehicle Dynamic Control system) coming on, how is one supposed to know if the cause is covered or not until one brings the vehicle in to the dealership. I feel that this is unreasonable and a rip-off of customers. More
