I rented a new car from Jonathan,Within four days, the whole transmission on the new car broke down. The car took more than two months to repair. At the beginning, this salesman's service attitude was poor, and he did not help to react and deal with problems. He had no professional ethics. And his sudden departure. So he just sell the car, clinch a deal, there is no after-sales service. And the service throughout Hyundai is terrible. The car is poor quality. I would never consider buying this brand again. More

Brought in my car for some warranty service and when I got the car back the leather seat was ripped. I brought this directly to their attention and they initially denied it. It was obvious they place heavy machinery on my seats as the leather was crushed and was the first thing I noticed when I opened the door. I have vey low miles and take immaculate care of my car so I knew right away. I was told they would contact me but never did. I even stopped by the dealership again a few weeks later to see what the status was and I was again told I would be called and of course I never was. I left a negative review on another website and I was contact by a customer rep who promised to resolve the issue if I changed my review, Once I changed my review to a positive one I never heard back from them again after contacting that rep. with no response. I have had good experiences with this dealership in the past so it is disappointing they purposely avoided repairing the damage they caused. I would suggest if you do go here please document the exterior and interior of your vehicle before dropping it off and hope they don't damaged your vehicle as I am not sure they will take care of you. More
I most say first that my youngest of 3-daughters brought a vehicle form South Shore Hyundai last year. I went with her and she was happy with the service. That's why she told her older sister to go to South a vehicle form South Shore Hyundai last year. I went with her and she was happy with the service. That's why she told her older sister to go to South Shore Hyundai for her next car. Well I was a little taken back by the sales person that we meet in the parking lot directing us on where we should park. He asked my daughter can he help her she told him she came to look a one car and also wanted to know what her trade-in was worth. She told him before she look at the car she wants to know what her trade-in is worth. He just showed her 2-cars in her price range. He also said that she could only test drive 1- car unless she was going to commet to buy a car from South Shore Hyundai. I told him I never heard anything like this before. He told me it was because of covid and a young girl crashed a car on Sunrise Hywy. i said what that have to do with my daughter? Another thing that got me upset was when myself and my daughter bohyfriend was pointing out scratches and dings he said your buying a used car as-is it's expected. Now I'm ready to leave but my daughter wants another car and is ready to buy one soon. I told the sales person to get someone else to sit with us I also told him that all that he said I have never ever heard in all my years of shopping for a car with my kids or by myself. Well to end this bad visit my daughter was told her car was worth 3-hundered dollars less then what another dealer told her 2-days ago. She was also told that she would be short about $800.00 dollar to pay off her trade-in loan.She was told they could add the money on the price of the car to complete the deal plus a down payment. Well this is when I heard enough and told my daughter I hope you understand they want you to add your balance on your new loan plus a down payment too it's time to leave. Long story short my daughter went back to the other dealer the next day after leaving South Shore Hyundai. She got her trade-in that paid off her loan and gave her $1,800.00 for a down payment. She brought the same Hyundai Sonata same year for the same price with the same miles with less scratches and dings on it and with a warranty plus drove it home the same day. Her new car had a little stain in the back seat they are sending her to a detailer to get it out plus they are ordering her new mats. I'm writing this review because she went to buy from South Shore Hyundai because she liked her sister car and because of the warranty. My youngest daughter went and spoke with the manager the next day she told her older sister to go back but she said she not going back and she is going to buy a car from the other dealer and she did. I hope this is read to your sales people so they know it's just not about that one sale it's about people telling family and friends and coming back again for another car. More
