Brought my car in for service for a similar issue twice in 5 month period. South Shore didn't look at my car for 4 days while stringing me along and passing the buck to other team members. When picking up my loaner car I was made fun of by Dina, one of the service advisors. It was a rather odd and embarrassing situation. For a older woman to act like a child towards a customer is pretty ridiculous. I would say this is one of the worst places of business I have ever encountered. More
It was a pleasure working with Daniel the Sales Mansger and Karl my assigned Salesman This is my third Palisade. Jean, showed us and allowed for us to test drive the car ( car fax says that car is worth 24,500 yet he decided that no negotiation was allowed and dismissed my trade opportunity), and as soon as we decided to buy that particular vehicle the salesperson, Jean, walked away for about 30 minutes with my credit card and came back to say "we have a problem, that car you want to buy is in pending sale status". How rude is that to the person in process to buy and to my party. 9/8/2024: since it all smelled funny to me, I called to see if they were practicing deceptive marketing and guess what? I would put 0 stars if it was possible, I recently visited the dealership to explore my options for purchasing a new car or refinancing my current car. I was specifically interested in the 2024 Elantra SE. Unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. Firstly, I waited for an hour and a half just to get the numbers, which turned out to be significantly higher than the estimates I found on the Hyundai USA website. When I inquired if these numbers were negotiable, the sales manager, Ryan Weaver, approached me. Throughout our discussion, he behaved unprofessionally by repeatedly spinning his chair while I was talking, which felt dismissive and disrespectful. As a returning customer considering a second purchase, I was extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and the unwillingness to listen to my concerns. Additionally, I noticed that the prices were inflated by so much compared to the official estimates. This experience has left me questioning the integrity of the dealership, and I would not recommend doing business here. More
Cars are really expensive, and its true its best not to trade in a car if you can sell it to a private person. After visiting a handful of dealerships, I came to South Shore Hyundai and the customer service received by Karl surpassed everyone else I worked with prior. Karl was extremely knowledgable and went above and beyond to assist us my husband and I in making the best financial decision based on our needs. We ended up canceling a deposit we had on another car and financing a Palisade with him. We will definitely return to this dealership when our other lease is up to work with him again. More
