It has been a harrowing experience for me buying from this dealership. My life has turned upside down the day I drove 2.5 hours one way to South Shore Hyundai just because I found the car $500 cheaper th this dealership. My life has turned upside down the day I drove 2.5 hours one way to South Shore Hyundai just because I found the car $500 cheaper than elsewhere. It has been extremely difficult to say the least. It took me 4 months to get the title of the vehicle I bought cash. All the people I talked to were unresponsive and lacked thoughtfulness. My multiple follow up trips to the dealership were nothing but wasted effort. I had to threaten them with lawsuit before they finally chose to act. I have been scratching my head about those 5 stars reviews, but as for me it has been an affliction. More

went for NY State insp. told me i needed brakes,which i did. They told me my tire rod was inbad shape & neededto be replaced would take 5 hours! they had no loaners, had to leave for appt. Came here just to look and ended up buying a brand new Hyundai thanks to the wonderful help of Rinku who is a wonderful and kind sales consultant, Kensell for doing everything he can for us, and Marcus fo Hyundai thanks to the wonderful help of Rinku who is a wonderful and kind sales consultant, Kensell for doing everything he can for us, and Marcus for helping me through all the paper work! Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience with this dealership. I have been a loyal Hyundai costumer for six years. I really like my hyundai car so when my lease was up I went to Hyundai to talk about dealership. I have been a loyal Hyundai costumer for six years. I really like my hyundai car so when my lease was up I went to Hyundai to talk about my options in terms of financing my car. I was greeted by Stephen, very nice and welcoming at the start. He redirected me to finance where I was greeted by Marcus. Marcus consistently pushed me to get an extended warranty, even though I told him I wasn’t really interested. I had expressed concern about the high price as well as my insurance rate. He offered Stephen to find me a better insurance rate, to help sweeten the deal. I agreed, so Stephen and I worked on finding an insurance rate. I was under the impression that he was talking directly to the insurance company. He insisted and insisted that I take the rate, as this was the “best rate” I would find, and I would not be able to find a lower rate anywhere else. He at no point told me he was talking to a third party to get this rate, asked me for my financial information BEFORE he gave me the paper about a brokerage fee. At no point was I in communication with the broker and when asked what the fee was for, he told me it was a part of the insurance company fee. Not only that, but I was never given a copy of my paperwork. Side note: When I asked the next day for my copy of the insurance paper work, I was told it was shredded by Stephen. What? You shredded my paperwork?! That’s suspicious. When I insisted, he then said he found it. Weird. Continuing on, I had to pay an OUTRAGEOUS fee to basically have someone call up the insurance company and get me a rate, when in reality I could have done it myself. When I told Marcus (finance) about it, he responded “Oh I have no idea about that”, and continued to act like he didn’t know what was going on, when he in fact recommended Stephen to help. Instead, Marcus continued to push the extended warranty on me and when I refused, his attitude toward me completely changed, and I was treated with hostility. I soon realized no one in this place had my best interest in mind and no one was going to help me. I finished my paper work as soon as I could and left. Immediately after I left, I called another insurance company and found a rate TWICE AS LOW as what Stephen and this broker found me. I immediately canceled the current insurance company. Stephen is completely unprofessional, and unethical to say the least. The takeaway here is that this dealership will not HELP you, instead they will manipulate you and take advantage of you-they don’t care about the best deal for you, they care about making money off of you. I will never again deal with this dealership, it was honestly a very disturbing experience. More
