After agreeing on a price for lease on 2013 elantra i was hit with added on fees after i already gave down payment to start paperwork. I was also LIED to about GAP insurance by the manager Joe D. who fi was hit with added on fees after i already gave down payment to start paperwork. I was also LIED to about GAP insurance by the manager Joe D. who finalized my paperwork. It is included in the lease agreement as stated on back of paperwork (did not see it until i got home) but i was told that it was not included and it was up to individual dealership if they wanted to add it in. After making me sign a WAIVER OF GAP INS form i decided to get the GAP ins and paid an extra $400. I was then handed a phoney bill for the added coverage that was realy a bill for GAP insurance on a vehicle PURCHASE not a lease. I am displeased with DealerRater for their rating on this scamming dealership. I also plan on calling the BBB and NYS Dept of Consumer Affairs to register a complaint on all involved with my lease. During Hurricane Sandy, we stayed at a friend's house in the Hamptons, since our home in East Meadow had no power for nearly two weeks. When the tire pressure monitor system light appeared on my dashboard the Hamptons, since our home in East Meadow had no power for nearly two weeks. When the tire pressure monitor system light appeared on my dashboard the day before the national election, I was told to bring it to a gas station and they would put air in the tires and everything would be fine. It turned out that, because of long lines for gasoline, no one would check my tires. I was worried that it could become a big problem, and I wanted to be sure to vote on Election Day, so I decided to call my salesman, Wally Capehart, at South Shore Hyundai, to ask him if he could recommend a dealer close to the Hamptons location. When I purchased my Sonata at the end of January this year, Wally had said to call any time. Of course, I had no phone book or computer to find a location, but Wally actually called Atlantic Hyundai for me, gave me directions, and told them to expect me the next day. When I arrived there on November 6th, they were expecting me, and a very lovely man fixed the problem in about ten minutes, no charge! The dashboard alert was cleared and I was on my way to cast my vote! Needless to say, I was totally grateful and delighted. Wally Capehart gave service above and beyond and I'm so thankful! More

When I told him that I lost this car in hurricane Sandy, he went out of his way to see that I had a new car as soon as possible. Because he adjusted his schedule to make time for me, I had my new 2013 Elantra 4 days before my rental car was due to be returned.He is such a pleasant person to meet, talk with and do business with. I purchased a 2013 Sonata about a month ago. I was impressed with the fact that Mr. Newburg let the car do all of the talking. He took his time explaining the features of the car.
