My wife had purchased a 2008 Elantra at this dealership and I enjoyed driving that car when she let me. The quality of the car made me come back. Wally worked with us to get a great deal and to get the car that my daughter envisioned for herself. He understood my concerns and worked with us so that in the end we were all happy with the numbers and o car that my daughter envisioned for herself. Wally took the time and explained all the features of the car and even synced my daughter's Bluetooth before we left. Initially inquired over the telephone regarding a vehicle, was given what I now know as incorrect information. Made appointment with sales person for test drive. Arrived at dealership, contact pers vehicle, was given what I now know as incorrect information. Made appointment with sales person for test drive. Arrived at dealership, contact person first was in office, I waited, contact person then became busy so I was told by sales person who greated me at door that they would take care of me. Vehicle I made appointment to test drive wasn't available and was told I could test another vehicle that I was not interested in. Sales person showed me vehicle I was interested in but this particular vehicle was being prepared for pick-up, but I was able to sit in vehicle while sales person showed me all the features of the vehicle. I find it very unprofessional to make appointment with someone and they don't even have the courtesy to come out, introduce yourself, and say at least what's going on, state a reason why your unable to help, and introduce an alternate sales person who would be able to help. I also found that the sales personnel at this dealership were not completely knowledgeable of the product they were trying to sell. Are they even certified? I also found the vehicle prices higher than other dealerships. I will not be recommending this dealership to anyone More
We pick up my son's car to drive it and we heard a buzzing nose from under the dashboard and on the break paddle. We drove it back to the dealership . They called the next day they said they had to re buzzing nose from under the dashboard and on the break paddle. We drove it back to the dealership . They called the next day they said they had to recalibrate the abs brakes and traction control. So we pick the car up. About a month later my son was driving the car and when he made a right had turn the abs traction control in service engine light came on with a vibrating sound on the brake pedal it was hard to stop. I told my son to drive it to our mechanic he check the car out found the cable harness was spliced with black tape. Very unsafe to drive when I called the dealership up they told me to drive the car in I live in bellmore they located in valley stream. So I told them my mechanic is gonna have to fix it instead 305 dollars later it was fixed the right way. When I went to the dealership I told them that this was a pre existing problem that was never fixed right and they said they're not paying for the whole bill so they said they'll meet me halfway on the bill so I had no choice but to agree. That was 2 weeks ago and they say the check is in the mail. I would never do business there again or recommend anyone to go there. This is not how you treat customers especially with incompetent mechanics that work there. Who just sends cars out without knowing what they're looking for before they sell the car. Somebody could of got hurt especially the new driver. I hope somebody read this. More
