Also the dealership tried to sneak almost $2000 in fees and of course when I said something they were waived. When my wife asked a question about the fees he gave her the runaround and she told him to just answer the question and he responded extremely rudely.the only reason I followed through with my purchase was the fact it was the best price for my budget.if I had more options I would have walked out very fast. All and all the car is what I wanted minus the wrong info I was given. My advice is if you got options just skip this place or if u get Rashawn ask for someone else, he truly ruined the moment of getting a new car. More
We were fortunate to deal with Eric Whitehead. Eric provided quality cutomer service. He knows his products but isn't pushy where you fell like your getting the "hard sell" which is a real turnoff. I hate buying cars but I must say that the whole experience at South Shore Hyundai was great from the moment we walked in until we drove off the lot in our new car. After having been in touch with this dealer (South Shore Hyundai) via email - discussing detailed information about a specific vehicle (down to the VIN), went down take a test drive 2/17/14. I was specifically shopping for an Elantra 4dr Auto Sport. I was introduced to Rob and ask to see this vehicle. First, he told me there is no such model and tried to point me to a GL - not the model I'm interested. I pulled up the email trail and gave him their dealership's description (including "Sport" in the title) and the VIN of the car in question. He tried to pass off his ignorance that this was a brand new trim (yes new for 2014 - so its been on sale for 8 months now). He went back to the "inventory" manager and returned to tell me that that car has not shipped from the factory yet. In fact, no 2014 "Sports" are available yet. I questioned this since again this is a 2014 model - on sale since the summer, and I had a price quote - and he responded in a very derogatory manner that they can quote any vehicle - regardless of whether its on their lot or not. All of the above statements from Rob were untrue. The rep I had been emailing, sent back a note of apology later in the day for the "confusion." And that the vehicle we were discussing was there and I should come back for a test drive. Rob's manner and tactics were insulting and I feel he treated me as if I didn't know what I wanted since I was a woman car shopping alone. I will not be using this dealership and do not recommend it based on the treatment I received. I have since visited other dealers who do have the Sport and will be making a decision on my purchase shortly. More

First off, let me say I have never owned a new car. I live in Brooklyn, 7 blocks from a Hyundai dealership but went to South Shore based on recommendations from several acquaintances who have gone there, live in Brooklyn, 7 blocks from a Hyundai dealership but went to South Shore based on recommendations from several acquaintances who have gone there, a few even more than once. I went with my friend and my daughter and thought to myself....3 ladies....they're going to know we're clueless! As we entered, this very polite young gentleman welcomed us & introduced himself. Mr. Kwesi Gyasi. He asked what, if anything, I had in mind and my answer was the Tuscon. He asked if I had ever driven one and then we went for a test drive. I loved it. I have a very tight budget and needed not to go over a certain amount pet month. I knew nothing about leasing either an had heard mixed things. After the drive, we sat....& sat....& sat! He was wonderful and patient and very supportive. I felt like he wanted to put me in the car I wanted, not just sell a car. He even had to get Roberto involved for some number crunching. Both of these men will probably roll their eyes when I go in for service and run the other way ! (That's how crazy I made them). But, at the end of the day, I drive home in my brand new, leased Hyundai Tuscon! It was an extremely stress invoking experience for me (I have never made a purchase that large) but they made it easier. Especially Kwesi. And as if he hadn't had enough, at 11 pm, I realized I left my credit card there, called his cell phone (number on business card) in a panic & he called me back ten minutes later to tell me it was locked up safe. I have already told a couple of people about my experience and I will DEFINITELY send anyone who asks to South Shore Hyundai. Although I am partial to Kwesi, all of the staff we encountered professional and friendly. Thank you!!! More

After my friend has chosen this particular dealership, Gary has made my the experiences the worst in my entire lifetime. I financed a used car and Gary added extra products to my purchase without my permi Gary has made my the experiences the worst in my entire lifetime. I financed a used car and Gary added extra products to my purchase without my permission. When my friend and I confronted him about it, he told us "They were apart of the package and he doesn't need my permission to add THEM because I chose the 5.99% interest rate”. After I have done a thorough research, I have discovered that Gary was not being truthful and moreover there was no package like the one i have gotten and all the extra products, I had a choice. Furthermore, he promised me dearly, that after 6 bi weekly payments he was going to refinance the car and do other adjustments so that i do not experience a lost. Ironically, I went back Tuesday, December 31st, to have Gary do the adjustments but surprisingly I was told "He is no longer there." Now, I am left with a car that initially cost $16999 costing $34341.92 and no one is willing to reverse Gary's action. Shame on you all!!!! How can you guys not have a heart? This company is a disgrace!!!! I would never RECOMMEND you guys to my worst enemy!!!!!! Daniel Irvine tried to assist but, honestly, his alternatives would even increase by loss. More
