Completely Unacceptable Jeep Service – My Car Was Held Hostage! IF I COULD GIVE A ZERO RATING I WOULD. I had an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience with SOUTH SHORE JEEP in Inwood, NY recently, and I am beyond disappointed in the way they handled everything. The service I requested was covered under warranty, yet they went ahead and did extra work on my car without EVER getting my prior approval. To make matters worse, they refused to release my car unless I paid for the unauthorized services. What’s worse is that they didn’t even bother to get prior approval from me for this extra work. I was simply told I had to pay, and when I questioned it, they offered me a paltry 10% discount as though that would somehow make it all go away. Completely unacceptable. To add to the terrible service, the service person, Boris, was rude and unprofessional. He wouldn't let me speak on the phone and was incredibly dismissive. Clearly, he didn’t realize he wasn’t dealing with an 18-year-old, as he obnoxiously kept telling me to “speak with Daddy.” When my father tried to help resolve the issue, Boris gave him one story, but then told my mechanic a completely different version of events. The lack of transparency and the runaround I received was appalling. I called multiple times, trying to speak to a manager, but no one ever bothered to return my calls. To top it off, they threatened to charge me $95 a day to store my car if I didn’t pick it up, essentially holding my car hostage. It felt like they were trying to force me into a corner to pay for work I didn’t authorize. This whole situation was handled poorly from start to finish, and it’s clear they have no respect for customers or their rights. I will never return to SOUTH SHORE JEEP and strongly advise others to stay away. Be very cautious when dealing with them, especially when it comes to warranty services! More

My experience at South Shore Jeep was beyond disappointing. The service advisor, Bree, was incredibly disrespectful, unprofessional, and completely lacked basic customer service skills. She even had the audacity to tell me not to come back! I emailed the service manager about the issue, but I never received a response. It’s clear that neither the management nor the dealership’s ownership cares about their customers. This level of disregard is unacceptable. I will be reaching out to Chrysler Corporate to escalate this issue, as it’s evident this dealership does not value its customers or uphold professional standards. More

Update: Just like a user stated in her review below, the owner reached out to me to “try and make things right since its the holidays” they offered me a fraction of what im owed but in her review below, the owner reached out to me to “try and make things right since its the holidays” they offered me a fraction of what im owed but told me that in order to get the money released, i have to sign a release and non-disparagement agreement. i was considering to sign it just to make this all go away, but my lawyer advised against it and said legally they owe me money, so here i am today trying to get back what is owed to me in all fairness. I have alot of time on my hands being a firemen and will go to the fullest extent to get back what is rightfully owed to me. Like i said in the original review i’ve been in contact with an attorney, Nassau AG who is looking into the matter, & multiple news channels. I know a ton of cops & firemen drive these cars (Jeep Dodge Rams) do not buy from this place. They do not respect first responders or anyone. The 1 star reviews are real, dont over look it like i did. The 5 star reviews are all fake, they make you leave a good review before you leave like i stated in my first review. Its fitting there on Burnside Ave, they’ll definitely burn your bank account in hidden fee’s and quick and sneaky bait and switches !!!!SCAM ALERT!!!! THIS DEALERSHIP SCAMMED ME!!!!!!!! Wish i could leave a 0 star review. I am a firefighter, A FIRST RESPONDER. They listed the car i bought for a certain price, & ended up SCAMMING me after the deal for $10,000 MORE than it was listed for just because i didnt get their warranty. Mind you my car is a certified pre owned so i didnt need theirs. I went back & even gave them multiple times to correct this, & they DID NOT! Im a first time car buyer and they took full advantage of me. This is how they treat first responders, AND all people. Took full advantage of me. Everone stay away from this dealership. They keep you there for 7 hours waiting for their ONE finance guy who is disrespectful and extremely degrading. There are plenty of other jeep/dodge dealerships. The finance manager Eric completely fraudulently scammed me. I will be sending a message to every single fire house across NEW YORK CITY and tristate area that this joke of a dealership SCAMS FIRST RESPONDERS. What they did to me was consumer fraud & i have contacted the attorney general along with news channels and i have an interview set up with fox 5 and channel 9 news. Thankfully i know some people who work in media and are going to run a hit piece on this business. It was the classic bait and switch. The OWNER of the dealership spoke to me & barely offered ANYTHING back to help. I will not stop until i get money back. The way they operate is a complete joke & i will be posting about it everywhere. Best part is that they make you write a good review for them because “ we are trying to get better ratings” so for my Certified pre owned car, they made me write a positive review so i would get a set of books in the glove box. The review is obviously now deleted. But the car should come with the car manual regardless. It is a certified pre owned vehicle. Not to mention that the car came with one key. They told me i can call in 45 days and say i lost the 2nd key and get a new one for free. But after doing further research all certified pre owned cars from jeep come with 2 keys. This pushy dealership is your classic bate and switch. My trade in ended up being pretty much free because of this extra $10,000 SCAM. DO NOT buy from them!!!!!!!! i learned the hard way!!!! SCAM! Corporate jeep, NYS Attorney general office have both been contacted. Dont let these scammers scam you too! More

I was there for over 7 hours without being able to make a deal. They knew my budget, and kept offering me things out of my price range and wouldn’t tell me what the price would be until the very end of the p deal. Tina was great though. She was patient and seemed to look out for my best interest. She spent time explaining the different options. The upper managers definitely didn’t care though. They just wanted my money, even offering cars I didn’t have any interested in just to try to make a sale. More
I had no intention of buying a new car in the near future. But Nick and the rest of the team was such a help. My anxieties dissipated and I am happy with my new car and the experience.
