I requested and was told by Carter that he would forward (mail) all the papers I signed on the day I purchased a 2022 hyundia Tucson. About few days later I returned to discuss a function on my new car which was resolved,Carter asked to see me to sign a doc regarding my old car title which I did and asked about my docs that signed and he stated they were mailed.to this date 12,/19/2021 I have rec'd nothing. I called again he was not in yet prior to 12noon someone in finance at that time went tru a reply I told me that everything that was due was delivered on the signing. Why then was I told twice about paperwork would be sent??? I now consider this mater closed no response necessary.. More
I was looking for a very specific model and trim of a Hyundai and was stressed out buying with limited inventory, marked up prices, and being a first time buyer. I was in and out very quickly and they held the car for me while I came from three hours away to buy the car. Timmy is very trust worthy and works for your best interest!! More
During the last half of 2021, I was looking for a 2022 Hyundai Palisade. I was already pre-approved for a new auto loan. I was excited to find South Point Hyundai, especially Erick Whitley, as he seemed v Hyundai Palisade. I was already pre-approved for a new auto loan. I was excited to find South Point Hyundai, especially Erick Whitley, as he seemed very eager to help me get the car I need. On November 27th, 2021, Erick told me the Palisade I wanted would be in the dealership on December 19th and that the earliest I could sign a contract for it would be on December 13th. I specifically asked if anyone else could buy this vehicle or if it was absolutely mine. He promised me that Hyundai Palisade Stock #NU401444 was MY car that no one else would be able to buy it, that I didn't have to worry. Since my 2005 Toyota was close to not being drivable, I was incredibly relieved that I wouldn't have to worry about finding a car. I only had to wait one month until the car arrived. I even had a countdown going on my phone to mark the days until I got MY new car. I was one week away from getting my new car when my old car broke down. Unfixable, undriveable. I made multiple attempts to contact Erick and he wasn't responding. I emailed, I texted, I tried contacting the Sales Coordinator and never got any response. I explained how I was in a rental car and really needed to lock down the contract on my car, and still no response from Erick. Finally, I sent him a text stating I was just going to stop by the dealership to get this contract nailed down. He immediately called me and told me that someone else had bought MY car. Which was so weird, because he told me that no one else could buy my car. He told me CONGRATULATIONS! a month before because it was MY car. And suddenly he says he took ONE day off, and while he was off that ONE day, policies changed and someone else bought the car. The car that he guaranteed me was mine. I have been very easy going this whole process. I was open to different exterior colors and packages. I was patient. But apparently that only gets people screwed over. Erick told me he'd try to find another car for me and that'd he'd call me right back. Guess what? He didn't. I still had to text him again asking what was going on. And then he has the nerve to call ME rude? The customer that trusted what he told me, that was patiently waiting for the date HE TOLD me I could sign the contract for my car, and only kept asking for a purchase order to complete the purchase with my bank.. and even after Erick completely screwed up, I still gave him a chance to turn things around and he refused to do that. I'm still waiting to speak to his Manager. Based on communication with Erick, I'm not holding my breath that Management at South Point Hyundai will be any better. Congratulations to the lucky person that had a better salesman than I did and stole my car away from me. Meanwhile I'm stuck in a rental car costing me $1000 per week thanks to the incompetence of the other staff at this dealership. More

The dealership had our car for 55+ days. The original service department manager left the company one day after we had arranged to leave the car here for repairs. Time for repairs was drawn out by additional problems encountered during repairs and long delivery of parts. When the car was finally back in our possession after transport and 61 days away the aux starting battery was dead. This is somewhat disappointing. More disappointed in Hyundai than the dealership service department. More
