I wish I could say I had a great experience here, but I didn't. I don't completely fault our salesman, Anthony, as I feel he was trying, but it just wasn't going well. We set up a test drive appointment for a used car for my sister. When we arrived, it took a bit to find our salesman. The car was not cleaned and the radio was on full blast when we got in to testdrive. I felt that was not professional, but not that big of a deal. After driving, we noticed a window crack and it took a while to get the carfax to make sure it was repaired properly. We got through that and decided to purchase the car cash/non financed. While they were getting the paperwork, we asked if they planned to detail it and fill the tank (as the salesman mentioned this during our testdrive). They said they would do it while we did the paperwork, but no one ever came to get the car to get it detailed. Since we didn't want to wait for that, we scheduled to pick it up 3 days later. We turned down the extra warranties with our salesman and stayed with the original advertised price, which given the market, we felt was fair. We then went to the finance office where they tried to sell us more warranties of which we repeatedy said no. (That was getting very frustrating). When the paperwork was printed, the price of the car was about $400 more than was advertised on both the sticker and on the internet. When I asked about this we were told there was a $399 delivery fee. So we asked if it was going to be delivered and they said no the fee was for the transport, processing, detailing, and cleaning of the vehicle. (Note: The car went from Pflugerville to South Austin and that was there where we purchased it.) I felt this was pretty shady to not be up front about those costs and to realize we were basically paying $400 for it to be detailed, cleaned and given a full tank of gas. To make matters worse, when we came back 3 days later, at a scheduled time to pick up the car, and after calling ahead, the car was not even detailed. It didn't even look like it had been washed. We had to wait for the gas to be filled, the tires appeared to be shined up, but the car itself was dirty inside and out. I even took pictures. The dash and radio were completely dusty, there were splotches from something spilled and dirt on the inside doors. We also had to walk across the lot to go get the car. (And I was even in a boot because of a foot injury a few days prior) The salesman just said the people detailing do a poor job, but never offered to correct it. Also - why didn't they bring it to us ready, knowing we were scheduled to pick it up? This was horrible service, whether you are financing or dropping $30k cash on a car....unacceptable. The only reason I gave the employees 2 stars is they were being respectful and friendly.to my family. I had honestly considered purchasing a new Genesis from them, but I have decided I will be purchasing that elsewhere. Hate to leave a poor review, but hope they do some work on their customer service and pricing transparency. More
I called today to schedule a service appt. My wheel bearings are going out on my car. I would hate to name someone and it is incorrect but it won't accept the review without it. I was told nothing available until April. I have a full warranty and have to have my car to get to work. I drive a lot of miles to and from work and I don't want to be driving down the interstate and have my tires fall off. She told me I could call RoundRock but they're backed up until June or "at least that's what other customers have told her" so maybe I could call them and see if that's true or not. Why would I want later than sooner?....just a thought. She also said they aren't affiliated with any other Hyundai dealer and maybe Kyle dealership could get me in but I'd have to call around. I told her I really need my car and the point of calling Southpoint is due to the fact that I bought my car there and I have the full warranty that was paid for and it wouldn't be covered anywhere other than the dealership. Her response seemed to me she could care less, too bad, so sad. She offered no solutions just we're not affiliated with any other dealerships. Really crappy customer service. Didn't even offer the phone number to other dealerships. At least that would have been something. Not trying to be a Karen, but this is ridiculous. I don't think I'll be buying another Hyundai when this one's paid for. The warranty was a deciding factor, but if I can't get taken care of when there's a problem, then it's not a plus. More

Let me start by saying that I am not the easiest person to work with because I absolutely HATE the car dealership games of going back and forth as you sit for hours. At South Point Hyundai, I can honestly to work with because I absolutely HATE the car dealership games of going back and forth as you sit for hours. At South Point Hyundai, I can honestly say that they don’t play those games. Shawn Hamze has been truly amazing. He gets straight to the point and lets me know exactly what he can or can’t help me with. There’s no game playing just straight forward honesty with him and that is super important for me. The South Point hyundai dealership is Excellent! Everyone there is so extremely helpful and nice. I have been to so many dealerships and have gotten nice salespersons to start out with but it always ends up with them trying to push me into something. I have purchased 2 vehicles through this dealership and they are amazing to work with and I will continue to tell people about this dealership and Shawn Hamze. Thank You so much for your help and easy in and out process. More
My good salesman art liscano and his team was the best choice I chose to help me get a car. They pushed and pushed to get me in a car if they did it with me they can do it with any one.
