I was even offered $800 more for my trade-in than a dealership up in Round Rock offered! The finance folks are kind of hard-core old-school types, but in the end I think I did fine with the rate. I stood around the Service Area for a while and those folks were JUMPING to help out. I was just standing there looking around, and several of them asked me if I had been helped! These are all signs of a company that really knows who the customer is, and how to take care of them. More
AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP - bait-and-switch salesmen I was ready to buy a new car, but every time I spoke to the salesman he keep trying to show me other cars in which I had no interest. He even said he' I was ready to buy a new car, but every time I spoke to the salesman he keep trying to show me other cars in which I had no interest. He even said he'd bring the car around I wanted to buy to take another test-drive, which I didn't need, then he brought the wrong car around. He said he wanted to check out this other car he thought I'd like. Then he kept changing the offer. Every time I went to leave, he would make a preliminary offer, then he would then ask me to wait for his manager to sign-off on it. Then, he'd come back with a different off I had no intention of taking. I finally got out of there, and he called me on the phone saying they had a new offer. Every time I called back, he said he'd check with his manager and never call me back. After 3 missed calls, I realized he was just jerking me around. I don't think these people had any intention to sell me a car. They will not get my business. I already got great service and the exact car I wanted from another dealership. More

First it was one o Great people, great product, great experience. I am writing to you to let you know of my latest experience at South Point Hyundai. First it was one of the easiest, peaceful buying experiences that I have experienced in 30 years. I think too often when things go well we don't take time to really acknowledge the people that make it so. So today I want to acknowledge them. I have been in sales for over 20 years, about 12 of those were in automotive sales. In those years I remember almost every sale was an uphill battle in winning the confidence of the buyer as well as educating the customer about the dealership, the process and just the entire ordeal. I started my buying process only a few days ago when I decided to see what my current vehicle was worth. I live in Round Rock and am new to Texas so your dealership was not in the picture yet. I traveled to a local Car Max, as I am sure many people do to have my vehicle evaluated. Once I had the value I then started speaking to several dealerships around the area. Hyundai was not even my first choice as I have had much luck with Honda in the past. Every dealership I contacted played nice on the first phone call however, not many called back right away. Some even took 2 days to recall me with details, payments and any other questions I had. From my first phone call to South Point I spoke with Sunny whom a short minute into the call told me he was one of the mangers and would be glad to help me. In my opinion his warm friendly tone was already enough to tell me I found the right place. He had a salesperson call me back with the details I needed. David Degnan called me back and was helpful, informative and genuinely interested in helping me find the right vehicle. He made me want to come to the dealership. After speaking with him, I felt I would not be pressured and even though it was close to an hour travel time and I would pass at least 2 Hyundai dealerships on the way I decided that I would come in. Lets face it car buying is not the favorite past time of many people, even for someone who has done it. When I arrived I was greeted by David and also Sunny greeted me. I know I am not stating anything unusual about being greeted. However you need to know that I felt truly welcome. That is a feet that needs to be acknowledged. After spending about an hour deciding on a vehicle the buying(leasing) process again was extremely easy. Does every car sale go without problems... no but it is how you handle the problem that makes you a little better than the average bear. After leaving the dealership and driving home my new car I thought about my experience and had a good felling about it. No buyers remorse here. When I arrived home my wife asked why did I go all the way downtown and spend all day buying a car when I had a dealership right down the block. I told her what I though was obvious, lets face it price plays an important decision hover I told her one sentence. Not only was the price great but they were the nicest people I have met. We looked over the car and of course my wife noticed some damage under the back bumper that I didn't. She pointed it out and the worry wart she is said now you have a problem because its a lease and we would be responsible for it. I texted a picture of the damage to the sales person and not even 3 seconds went by and he was calling me to reassure me that the damage would be fixed and when could I come in to handle it. I didn't even have a chance to worry about it. That type of response is something I strive for in my business and am embarrassed to say that I don't come close to the responsiveness that your guys had. I have only had the car a few days and have only showed it off to one person, but I can guarantee you that everyone I know will here about the experience I had there and I will tell them they should check you guys out. So in a nutshell I must commend you, as they say the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, and as I have worked for many car dealerships in the past the salesperson can only be what he is expected to be. Well here he was polite, pleasant to be around, helpful, funny and concerned for my purchase and deal. No matter how you train someone, if it doesn't come from the heart its just lip service. I believe it came from the heart. More
