I Purchased a 2020 Ram 1500 on July 4th and waited a while to give a review to see if my experience or the customer service got any better, it did not. I’ve always been a Ford guy and wanted to give Dod while to give a review to see if my experience or the customer service got any better, it did not. I’ve always been a Ford guy and wanted to give Dodge a try. I do like the truck, how could I not, it’s brand new, however I will NEVER purchase another vehicle from Southpoint Dodge. I’ve been passed around to literally 7 different people from the moment I walked in. The tires I ordered were wrong, they tried to charge me on aftermarket things that were agreed upon in the price. They absolutely will not return a phone call, in fact the only call I’ve gotten from them is because they couldn’t find the keys they misplaced on my trade in. I have called and called, no return calls from anyone and the only way I was able to get my spare set of keys or to find out any information about my vehicle is to drive to the dealership. I’m 50 years old, purchased a lot of vehicles for myself and family and this is by far the worst experience ever. If your considering a Dodge, don’t go to Southpoint. More
I think the work is ok but being in tune with the customer is poor. Purchased a two service special on prior visit. I have been in lockdown over 4 months and son in law took my Jeep for service m. It was embarrassing for him to try and deal with the rejection. More
Nickel & Dimed I took my Jeep Grand Cherokee in for an oil change, tire rotation, and alignment. The number on the bill was $150 higher than the quote I received whe I took my Jeep Grand Cherokee in for an oil change, tire rotation, and alignment. The number on the bill was $150 higher than the quote I received when I dropped the car off. There were small nickel and dime items on the bill like oil disposal. I'm getting charged for them to throw out garbage. On top of that they do not wash your car after it is serviced. Compared to other dealerships and service centers I've used I was very disappointed. Very bad customer service, can never get through and speak to an actual person on the phone. Said I needed an oil change in order to troubleshoot and then still did not fix the problem I was having. I had Jeep at local mechanic before warranty ran out (engine), but when we moved it to the Jeep dealership the date expired. 4). After spending $2.7k without a single service rendered (expense was supposedly for amount of time they had it) I had it towed to Jeep Master. I found out Southpoint could have sent my case for a judgement on whether warranty would cover it based on the fact that it was at a mechanic before the end of the warranty but they never informed me of the opportunity.
