DAMAGE AT RECALL On Jan 28 we took our 2013 Kia Sorento in for a recall. We assumed that it would be a simple recall and that the car would be returned to us in the co On Jan 28 we took our 2013 Kia Sorento in for a recall. We assumed that it would be a simple recall and that the car would be returned to us in the condition it was when we dropped it off. While the car was there, they recommended that the battery was low and that it should be replaced. We agreed.. When the car was returned to us, the radio and phone did not work. I was told to stop by and that it would be reset. I asked if there would be a charge and I was told "NO". I spent an hour waiting for it and I was told to schedule an appointment and leave it. They needed more time. This time I was told that the radio was "faulty" and the repair costs would be $600. It worked fine when we left the car! They claim the battery had nothing to do with this and that it was a coincidence. This all happened while the car was in their possession. After taking the car for 2 additional evaluations, we learned that a spark can occur when a battery is replaced that can cause a power surge and would affect the radio and other electrical systems. The correct way to remove a battery would be to have a second power source hooked up. The car was returned to us this time with a cracked dashboard, as well as no power at all now to the radio. We are shocked at the amount of damage our car has had in the hands of this dealer.They have offered to fix the cracked dashboard, but do not feel responsible for the electrical problems. We are leery to even let them touch the car again. Service customers beware!!!! More

Fast service They were able to fit me in for service for my AWD not working on a snowy day. I had assumed that I was going to have to wait for parts like other places I have had service done. So happy they are apparently well stocked and efficient. More

Software update The software update was really fast, which was the nicest part. They offered to replace my battery for me, which of course was 160% mark up of buying one and getting it installed for free at any parts store in the area, so I passed on that. When they pulled my car around and I got in, it smelled like the workshop. My car didn't have a grungy oil car garage aroma when I dropped it off. After a day with the windows open the smell subsided. Finally, for what it's worth, I'm guessing not a whole lot, its stated on the website under "Service Department Features: FREE Car Wash with Service". This is my second time getting service done at this dealership and I didn't receive a wash either time. Why have it on your website for people to read if it never happens? More
