The personal on the service side are very nice, always very helpful when I go in for service. They never do anything to your vehicle unless they ask, which I really appreciate. Other than waiting for the car for about 6 weeks, which I understand could not be helped, the whole process the day we picked up the car was extremely efficient. Our experience started out great. We saw a van on the website and went to see it and were told it would be ready for sale then next day. Went back with my husband to see it. Took a few trips back and for website and went to see it and were told it would be ready for sale then next day. Went back with my husband to see it. Took a few trips back and forth but eventually bought it. We were told paint spots on the body would be fixed, as well as the air bag sensor light fixed for us if we brought it back when a specific person was there. I also asked about a weird noise the door was making and was told it was normal. It was not normal. We took it back two or three times for the air bag sensor to be fixed, because they didn't order the parts initially and attempted to just reset the system. The first time they "fixed" the spot on the back bumper it looked like they put old chunky white out on it. They eventually put white paint over it. Not what I'd call fixing it but whatever it will do. Drove two hours from home with three kids in car seats in the back and the door wouldn't latch, two hours away after being told the noise was normal when I questioned it. Took it in to get fixed. Was told it was better, they shut the electronics off, only to find they made it worse. Gave us a rental for two weeks that time. Got told it was okay to use again but had to wait for the parts. Fine, I understand covid is slowing things down. However this time an hour away from home the other door wont latch, again with kids in the back. Then in the middle of the night the alarm starts going off waking up the neighborhood, though we were told this was turned off causing us to have to pull fuses because it's not registering that the door is closed. It's now been two months this time alone that they have had our van. We bought our van about 4 months ago and have had it maybe a month total and while I am appreciative of having a loaner car, we got the van so we wouldn't have to take two cars places (car seats don't fit well in a niro, which is why we bought the van). I also understand that things are taking longer due to the pandemic, but both myself and kia corporate have reached out and not received any communication back. If I want any updates I have to call numerous times for a response. We have driven to their dealership numerous times for numerous repairs and still have nothing but a car payment and lots of receipts for gas (we live 40 minutes away with no red lights) to show for our van. More
