Give the sales and service department a try...besides this bump in the road, there was a reason We bought our 4 vehicles from this dealer in prior 6 yr. period. And I love my Ridgeline! More
I will never go anywhere else-Best service experience ever ! I took my car for service due to intermittent problems starting the vehicle. We found the starter to be faulted. My service Rep, Gerald Kopelic along with South Hills Honda Mgr. contacted Honda and argued it not to be fair to replace the starter at my expense and were able to to get my new starter w labor 90% covered by Honda ! That was best news I ever heard from any dealership !!!!!!! Further, they provided complimentary shuttle service to take me back and forth to my job eliminating the stress of missing work and lost income! It is rare to find a dealer that shows such integrity and goes out of their way to go above and beyond for the customer ! They earned me as a loyal customer for life ! Lisa DeLeo .. More

Negligent, Inconsiderate and Unapologetic I was in Pittsburgh, (I had driven from NY) when my car needed to have the brakes fixed, tires rotated and oil changed. When I dropped my car off at I was in Pittsburgh, (I had driven from NY) when my car needed to have the brakes fixed, tires rotated and oil changed. When I dropped my car off at South Hills Honda for this service, (it was near where I was staying). I informed the service rep. that the driver side door made a noise when I locked the car but that I didn’t want to fix it at this time. When I came to pick up my car, I was charged $414.39, $50.00 of that was for them to just tell me what I already knew about my noisy driver side door, (they didn't fix the noise). Then I was surprised to not even drive my Honda Fit 2 feet out of the parking spot to hear the breaks squeaking. I went right back into the service center. After hearing the noise the Honda service rep. agreed that there was still a problem with my breaks. When I came back to pick up my car the next day the 2 Honda employees that I had interacted with the previous day, (and also when I had originally dropped the car off), acted like they didn’t know who I was. I was told that "If I was here to pick up my car go to the cashier." The cashier said, “They checked your brakes and we're not charging you", Like South Hills Honda was doing me a favor, (I had already been charged for the job not done properly the first time). Not one employee that I had previously interacted with acknowledged or apologized for the inconvenience. When I tried out my car this 2nd time the breaks were really pulling but at least they weren’t squeaking, South Hills Honda had my car for 4 working days and no one had bothered to check that the brakes had actually been fixed or working correctly, twice. When I ask to speak to the manager, I was told that Mr Glenn Bowery was out to lunch. I got in my car and left. 1 day later my low tire pressure light came on. South Hills Honda had rotated my tires and put the wrong amount of air pressure in them. Variations can occur due to change in temperature, but the air pressure in my tires was way too low to be contributed to just weather temperature variations. My South Hills Honda service experience was not of the quality or standard that I’ve come to expect from Honda, they are inconsiderate, incompetent and not willing to acknowledge or apologize for the inconvenience they cause for negligent service? More

Flawless service Had an issue with our honda called south hills honda and ask if i could bring it in that day to get handled and was told just bring it in no hassles. This by far is the best experience I've ever had while purchasing a vehicle.They explained everything, as well as went above and beyond to answer all my questions.I had went to several other Honda dealers (Dean,Washington -Honda) and was offered absolutely nothing for my trade-in ,as well as unwillingness to work on vehicle price!That all quickly changed once I entered into South Hills Honda, and was sold a top of the line Pilot ,at an exceptional price,as well as top dollar for my trade-in! South Hills Honda still continues to exceed my expectations for seasonal maintenance and I would highly recommend them to those who are seeking a new vehicle purchase!!! More
Incompetent recommend unnecessary expensive work while failing to do needed critical safety repairs. Their negligence led to $3,000 damage to my car. My car was i recommend unnecessary expensive work while failing to do needed critical safety repairs. Their negligence led to $3,000 damage to my car. My car was inspected, rotors and brakes replaced. 2,797 miles later ball joint failed catastrophically. Back for repair and I asked them to go over it for safety before I drove it again. Picked up, brakes not right. Back again, they said the rotors were shot . At time of inspection they recommended entire exhaust be replaced, it passed but would need to be done soon, cost several thousand dollars. 2,797 miles later they say exhaust is fine, why do you ask? Car has 83,000 miles. they recommend I have 60,000 mile service done. Nope, you already did that at 60. So then they want me to do the 90,000 service 7,000 miles early. I bought my car there and had service done there for it's whole life. I bought a Honda thinking it was a safe and reliable car and took it to the dealer for service thinking the best mechanics in the field would keep my car safe and reliable. Had the ball joint broken a mile earlier, we were in traffic on a main road and my daughter and I could have been terribly injured. More

Today - I experienced the absolute worst in customer service. I had a 10:30 am appointment for a 30K check; called at noon to see how long it would take ... was curtly told it's a 3 hour window; stopped in at 1:30 pm to wait; was met at the front desk by someone who treated my directional question like I was a huge inconvenience to him ... and then found out that my car hadn't even been looked at!!! And was told that it wasn't ready because I hadn't told them when I needed it!! What part of I had a 10:30 am appointment was difficult to understand?! When I expressed my disappointment to the service department- the guy shrugged his shoulders and went back to whatever he was doing !!! Being dissed once was tough ... 3 times!!? Really.bad.service ... taking my car to Tad on Rt 88 ... More
