I can't say enough good things about South Easton Motor Sales. Their selection of jeeps is really good, the employees are very professional, polite, and willing to go above and beyond to give the best cust Sales. Eric Giovanello helped me pick the jeep I bought in May and I can't be happier with it. He made the purchase process quick and easy. He registered and got inspection sticker for me and I was driving my jeep home in just a couple days. Before I went there looking to buy, I contacted them by email to ask for availability of vehicles on their website and they wrote me back without delay. I highly recommend this car dealer to everyone I know. They are the best! More

Traveled an hour away from our home to find a great deal on a used vehicle for our daughter and we weren't disappointed. After a car accident left my son's car total, we went in search of the exact same model to replace it. I located such a vehicle at South Easton Motor Sales. While the dealership is roughly 90 minutes from my home, we went to test the drive the vehicle as we had determined that it was what we were looking for. When I called ahead to make an appointment, it is a pandemic after all and my drive is quite far on a Friday evening (9/24/21) in rush hour traffic, I was told they don't take them. Upon arriving, we went inside and asked to see the vehicle. We test drove it, conducted a visual inspection and after some back and forth, reached an agreement to purchase the vehicle. I agreed to place a deposit on the vehicle to hold it while they serviced it and we conducted an exchange of payment in full for the title. This is where things went wrong...Because I lived so far away and was concerned about my teenaged son driving his new vehicle 90 minutes through areas he'd never been back to our home state of NH, I inquired about delivery. They said they would not deliver, that I would need to mail them a cashier's check and then they would mail me the title after they received my check and I could register the vehicle in NH, get plates and then come get the vehicle and drive it home. THIS PROCESS IS WRONG ON SEVERAL LEVELS. 1. In order to not LEGALLY charge MA state sales tax on the vehicle the dealership MUST make delivery of said vehicle to the state of NH. I discovered this upon purchase of a subsequent vehicle from another MA dealership. 2. Upon calling the NH DMV I learned that as long as I have a signed purchase and sales agreement, which I did, I could obtain temporary plates for my vehicle. There would be no need to send a cashiers check in advance of receiving my vehicle and title. These legal issues aside, I did not hear back from my sales rep Eric ever again. I did call the dealership after the weekend, on 9/27/21, to follow up on the title and was told that they still had not located it. On 9/28 I spoke with Derek who informed me that the title had never been received from the dealership they purchased the vehicle from, that it was still with the bank. Listings of the vehicle on Edmunds.com indicate that the vehicle had been listed for sale since 7/24/21 (as of the writing of this review it has been actively for sale for 82 days according to Edmunds.com), yet in those 2 months from listing the vehicle until the time I executed a purchase and sales agreement for it, the dealership had not taken possession of the title? The title issues continued. Another call to the dealership was made on 9/30 when I was told they were waiting on the title to be sent from the bank. It would be in hand by the following week. On 10/5 I made another follow-up call as no one was proactively reaching out to me to advise on the status of the title. Again I was told that the title had not been received, but that Derek would be driving to the dealership that sold the vehicle the next day to inquire in person. IMPORTANT: ON THIS SAME DAY, 10/5/21 THE LISTING FOR THE CX5 THAT I HAD AN EXECUTED A PURCHASE AND SALE AGREEMENT FOR ON 9/24/21 WAS UPDATED WITH A NEW, HIGHER PRICE. This indicates that the dealership was still actively attempting to sell the vehicle for which we had a P&S for. At this point I started looking for vehicles elsewhere as after over 2 weeks of back and forth on the title issue I was becoming less and less confident that the dealership would be making delivery of this vehicle to me. On 10/7/21 I received a message from Derek that the title had still not been received and that he would call me at the beginning of the week, 10/11 or 10/12 if they happened to be closed for the holiday, to update me. It is 10/14/21. I have received no further calls. I am done chasing this business for a vehicle that they seem to have no intent of selling to me, especially in light of their not understanding their legal obligations as dealers in the State of MA in regards to taxation and delivery of vehicles to out of state buyers. The vehicle IS STILL LISTED AS ACTIVELY FOR SALE ON THEIR WEBSITE AT THE HIGHER PRICE. The only thing I am grateful for is that upon seeing the title wasn't on premises, my initial sales rep Eric had the good grace to NOT take a deposit from me, but that is probably the only good thing I can say about this entire experience. This experience has been fraught with poor customer service, bad business decisions and what sounds like either ignorance of MA tax law or blatant disregard. Either way, I would strongly recommend not doing business with this company. More
