This time I am willingly writing this review to share my honest experience with Mr. Charlie Pham and his team, Mr. Godwin Ibe, Mr. Sam Damani, and Mr. Cruz. In addition based on my experience with Mr. Charlie Pham, he is professional, friendly, honest, knowledgeable, charming, and engaging in the dealership and we had a pleasant experience leasing our new car form him and his team. The car that we were looking for, was difficult to find in that period of time, but Mr. Charlie and his team helped us to find exactly what we were looking for. We did not feel like they are pushing us to buy or lease a car that we don’t like. They were honest and straight forward with us. When I was there to sign the contract with Mazda dealership, I heard that Mr. Charlie Pham got promotion on his new job position. I as a customer believe that he truly and surely deserves his promotion. They failed to fix my car after two visits, ignoring photo/video proof of a safety-relevant malfunction. Different staff gave me contradictory data on how to reserve a loaner, resulting in me not getting one when they had some to spare. They don’t answer the phone before 9am, according to one employee. Oddly, I’ve had 27 unanswered calls before 9am, but one 8:33am conversation. I left a message with the manager and there wasn’t any followup. If I hurt myself in an accident in my near-new vehicle because they didn’t honor the warranty for the safety equipment- I’m obviously going to sue them. More

Bought a new car from Miguel M. and had an easy time figuring out which trim level would be best for me and my family. He was patient and answered all our questions in regards to ca and had an easy time figuring out which trim level would be best for me and my family. He was patient and answered all our questions in regards to car features, incentives, car specs, financing options and monthly price vs. out the door pricing. He also reviewed extended warranties, Lo-jack pricing, and maintenance packages with us and explain all the different levels/tiers without pushing us to max out everything. This is our second car we have bought from him and both times have been great experiences. Would highly recommend working with Miguel at South Bay Mazda. I never write reviews but felt inclined to write a review to warn others about this dealership. Specifically their finance department manager Richie. We went to this dealership to buy out our Mazda 3 lease. to warn others about this dealership. Specifically their finance department manager Richie. We went to this dealership to buy out our Mazda 3 lease. When we met with Richie he discussed with us warranty options that he recommended. We declined. He then said "well you guys are young and just don't know any better. In all my years working here we haven't had anyone refuse our warranty deal." We then continued to adamantly declined the warranty and the gap insurance, which were 2200 and 750 respectively.. Two weeks later we saw our loan from chase being around 3000 more than what we agreed. We went back to Mazda and explained the excess costs were due to the warranty and gap insurance which we adamantly declined. They charged us for a insurance that we did not want. According to their sales rep and other manager this has happened several times before and Richie has been a repeat offender. Please avoid coming to this dealership and avoid working with Richie at all costs. I never write bad reviews but I felt that I needed to warn other people so that aren't lied to and get the same treatment that we got from Richie. More
