Dealing with Chris at South Bay Mini was like nothing I have ever experienced with a new car dealer before. He was straight with me all the way, there was no quibbling with price and then having a manager have ever experienced with a new car dealer before. He was straight with me all the way, there was no quibbling with price and then having a manager have to okay it, and he was very patient with me (allowing me to test drive the car twice and ask lots of dumb questions). In addition, and something I find stunning, when I see him at the dealership while I am there for servicing or, most recently, tires, he always calls to me by name and asks me how I am and if I am still enjoying the car, etc. I think he is a true gem and when I buy my next car, I hope it will be another Mini Cooper and I hope he will sell it to me. My wife and I had visited a fair number of different dealerships looking for a small sporty car. When we went to South Bay Mini it was late on a weeknight and close to closing. She was very patient with our many questions. She showed us the inventory and gave us alot of space to explore and discuss things among ouselves. Once we decided to buy she expedited the sale. The dealership and Alex have stayed in touch via e-mail regularly. We stop in for free car washes from time to time and little things like resetting the clock after the time change. Alex even made a cd of fun songs (on the road again) for us. We have not had any maintenance issues (another reason to buy BMW products) but know from passed experience that this dealership is spot on. I can't say enough good things about the overall experience. More
