I wish I could give zero stars to this car dealership. I bought my 2016 mini clubman a few months ago at 22K miles. I was assured by the sales rep, Harlen, that the car was fully inspected and had undergon bought my 2016 mini clubman a few months ago at 22K miles. I was assured by the sales rep, Harlen, that the car was fully inspected and had undergone the strictest of inspection to be deemed " certified preowned w warranty" along with a check list stating everything including brakes were in good condition, within 3 months at 27K the car made horrible sounds and it was discovered that the brake pads needed to be changed and the timing belt had a leak! I emailed Harlen to inquire and receive at least a refund for the work needed; but absolutely no reply. What's worse within another 1.5month at 28K the car made another horrible noise and had to REMOVE AND REPLACE LOWER CONTROL ARMS ALONG WITH NEW BUSHINGS. I emailed Harlen again, and this time a Mohammed Ali called and left a cryptic message, I called back but no one answered, left a message and yet no call back or email reply. Besides horrible customer service this place sells lemons so be warned before you go; be sure to have your own mechanic check the car before purchasing a any car here! More
I have tried to call and have the service manger call me and never got a return call. So I made an appointment to have car service today. The service has always been great and the staff very friendly. Vee was very helpful and very nice. I usually take my mini in for a yearly inspection and oil change. Leno was my go to service rep and he was excellent but he is no longer at the dealership. However my new go to guy is Vee. He is pretty good and during my last visit the technicians found a coolant leak, dented rim on the inside (hit a pothole which blew the tire), and worn motor mounts. I had 2 days remaining on my extended warranty which covered the coolant leak. Had the rim repaired at Americas tire, and Mini customer care arranged a discount for the motor mount repair which is not covered under extended warranty. I am satisfied customer. One last note... When I departed the dealership I noticed that the airbag restraint fault had been tripped. I turned around and brought it back. Vee took the mini back to the technician who diagnosed it as a one time fault, probably just a glitch and cleared the fault. I really appreciated that Vee took care of this on the spot. More

I visited a couple Mini dealers in the area and the employees and customer service at South Bay blew the others away! They were informed, friendly, and went above and beyond.
