She listened to me and remembered all my needs, wants and wishes. She explained the differences and similarities between all the cars she showed me - which made it much easier to make a decision. She addressed each and every need, want and wish - and found the perfect Cobalt-blue Countryman with a white top - what an eye-catcher. My 84 year old Mom loved the car, and my 84 year old Dad was all smiles when I took him for a drive. Plus, the monthly payments are well within my bedget. Great job So Bay Mini! You Rock Amy!! More
So I really needed a new car. A new car with a/c, and some oomph under the hood. I'd looked at a few cars recently, but my bf suggested we just go check out the mini's at South Bay BMW/Mini before we mad some oomph under the hood. I'd looked at a few cars recently, but my bf suggested we just go check out the mini's at South Bay BMW/Mini before we made any final decisions, and once I got in an S, I was hooked. I bought a 2011 clubman S from Amy Siu (who's brand new, and a total peach, she'll take care of ya with a quickness). I got a great deal on a car with a lot of options (double sunroof! power everything! BMW/Mini VIP buttkissing service warranty!), and the place was so chill compared to every dealership I've been in previously. I've dealt with having a GM made car for the last 5 years. That meant being literally ignored and dismissed for being a female at their service centers. I am SO excited to have a Mini now, and a great dealership that hustles when you have an issue with your car. Seriously, if you get a BMW or Mini after having an american car, your life will change. Those service warranties are worth it. More
Southbay MINI rocks!!! I was pretty sure I wanted a Southbay MINI rocks!!! I was pretty sure I wanted a Countryman S. My husband & I showed up without an appointment. We were able to walk around an Southbay MINI rocks!!! I was pretty sure I wanted a Countryman S. My husband & I showed up without an appointment. We were able to walk around and look without anyone hassling us. When we went into the dealership we were promptly & warmly greeted by Amy Sui who took us for a test drive. I have been dreading the car buying experience, but Amy was awesome! She was knowledgeable about the car and if she didn't know a particular answer to a question she quickly got it for us. She talked to us about the options without being pushy and really listened to us as we talked about what we wanted. Because we are getting close to the end of the model year they didn't have exactly what we wanted on the lot. But Amy did her homework and found me EXACTLY what I was looking for - tough to do as I was particular about what I wanted & what I didn't want. Amy & her manager Gilbert were great during the purchasing process - I never felt like I was being pushed at all and they gave me a fair value on my trade in. After waiting a couple of days for the car to come in from another dealer I was so bummed to think I'd have to wait a day or so to pick it up because my husband was running a conference & unavailable to sign paperwork. I mean my beautiful Cosmic Blue Countryman S was just waiting for me to take it home. Have no fear - Amy & Gilbert worked with Finance to come up with a creative solution that let me take it home that day. I never thought I would say that a car buying experience was enjoyable, but Amy made it so - she is just outstanding! We'll be replacing another car next spring and had no intention of buying another Mini - only because we have different needs for that car. But our experience with Amy & Gilbert will definitely get us to at least think about another Mini. Amy, Gilbert, Kelli (in finance) and all the people at Southbay Mini have restored my faith in car dealers! More

She made my buying experience far more pleasurable than I can ever imagine by making sure I was satisfied with every aspect of the buying experience. The offer price was straightforward and there were no games, hidden costs, or agenda to try and make bit more profit for the dealership. We take both of our MINI's for service and everyone is really helpful and accomodating...They alsways have loaners (unlike Nick Alexander), have the work done right the 1st time, and always have the car back to us on time. We drive past 3 other dealers because South Bay Mini is that good! Buying accerories for my JCW has also been a positive experience...matching or beating best prices. More
Buying our new Mini was the best experience I have had at a car dealership. Timmy and his team was awesome: personable, funny, and very friendly, without any pushiness at all (I am very sensitive to pushy s a car dealership. Timmy and his team was awesome: personable, funny, and very friendly, without any pushiness at all (I am very sensitive to pushy salespeople so I would've been very uncomfortable had he been even a teensy bit pushy). We laughed a ton while we were there. He went above and beyond to answer questions and work with us on what we wanted. He even made a house call because I had forgotten my checkbook all the way at home in Santa Monica and we wanted to drive our Mini off the lot that day!! Now THAT is service. I can't wait to go back and get my car washed (for free - unlimited!!) I highly recommend this dealership -- the people that work there are great and the cars are super fun too! I felt like I received a fair price and at no time was I made to feel guilty about asking for a discount. I was in sales for many years so I truly appreciated that both Paul Sapienza and Patrice Cullen treated me like they would want me to treat them. When I picked up my car, Paul personalized the set-up for me so I didn't have to struggle with the somewhat confusing (at first) radio/etc instructions. All the people at SBM really enjoy the cars they sell and truly share in your joy at purchasing such a fun vehicle. More
