Thought I would give this dealer a try after poor experiences with Cerritos Lexus and Longo Lexus. Was happy I did. Brought in my SC430 for 30,000 mile service. Was quoted $640, but when I went to experiences with Cerritos Lexus and Longo Lexus. Was happy I did. Brought in my SC430 for 30,000 mile service. Was quoted $640, but when I went to pick it up, they had a charge for $745, without anything new. Turns out the quote was based on old labor rates. They made good on the original quote. Also, bought a pair of wiper blades from the parts department and tried installing them myself at the service center (forgot to ask to have them installed prior.) When my sales person say me struggling with the blades, he came by to put them on for me. Very happy with the service. More
I found the service adviser to be very interested in my reason for wanting service, he took the time to explain what was needed and made me feel like I was being treated fairly. Under no circumstances would I recommend South Bay Lexus as this is the second time I have scheduled routine service one week in advance, only to have them not perform service in a timely manner, and let my as this is the second time I have scheduled routine service one week in advance, only to have them not perform service in a timely manner, and let my vehicle sit in the service area for several hours, without any work being done. After several calls to managers and service technicians with promises of a return calls, messages were not given to managers, calls were not returned and they took no responsbility for inconvenience, annoyance and poor service. Do yourself a a favor and SKIP THIS DEALERSHIP ALL TOGETHER!!! Total disregard for customer service. Go elsewhere. More
