I have been a customer of this Lexus dealership since 2016. The Lexus cars I have received and the customer interactions with the corporate side have been amazing, this review is based on the 8 years of 2016. I have had major issues spanning back about 5 years and every time I have dealt with 2 individuals, EDGAR CENICEROS and BRIAN JONES. Edgar by far was the worst person I have dealt with at any car dealership. I was told by Edgar Ceniceros that ALL Lexus vehicles squeak when braking. I asked him if it was possible to do any type of maintenance and his reply that I still remember to this day was, "do you want me to take the car back, we can do this right now". I was shocked because no one had ever say anything like that to me before. Brian Jones was present during that meeting, and still he remained quiet. There was another instance that I was rear ended, the impact was not bad and I replaced the rear bumper through insurance but the back up sensors were not working properly. The car would use the emergency braking system even when there were no obstacles present. I brought the car back and this time Brian jones was present and told me they would look into the issue. After concluding that there was no issue after 1 week, they gave me the car back. The car still had the SAME issue and thus I brought my Lexus to another maintenance garage and it took them about an hour to figure out that some of the wiring had become loose and then they fixed my sensors. They charged me 500 dollars. I never had issues with the backup sensors after that. My car still squeaks, no matter what model of Lexus I have (this es 350 being my 3rd model from this dealership) and the maintenance workers still don't give me an explanation of why the squeaking is so terrible. Once again, I have done business with the same Lexus dealership since 2016. I write this review because all of my complaints have gone unanswered. I hope someone from the corporate side of Lexus reads this review and contacts me so I can finally rectify this situation. I like Lexus, I don't want to switch to another car however, my advice to ANYONE reading this post, the Lexus vehicles are amazing, but DO NOT get the maintenance package from this dealership in specific. More

This is a LONG overdue shout out to Lisette Figueroa and the technician who replaced my car’s battery. On the afternoon of Friday, DEC 8, 2023, in horrible LA traffic, I drove to Lexus South Bay, and mad the technician who replaced my car’s battery. On the afternoon of Friday, DEC 8, 2023, in horrible LA traffic, I drove to Lexus South Bay, and made it there pretty close to closing time. I had had numerous AAA jump starts because my car would not start without them, so I desperately needed a battery. I was also distraught because my mom was gravely ill, so I had to get back to West LA where she was hospitalized in order to be by her side. Because it was so late when I arrived, the guy who greeted me told me I’d probably have to come back another day. But I really needed the battery replaced so I asked to speak to the service advisor on duty. That young lady was Lisette. In short, after hearing my plea, she called a technician and very nicely asked if he would work longer (on a Friday no less) to install my battery. He agreed and I was beyond grateful! Because the battery was under warranty, Lisette told me it would take about an hour. While there, I shared with Lizette that my mom was really ill and she listened intently. She was compassionate and comforting which helped to put me at ease. I then sat in the waiting room but about 25 minutes later, I became anxious and decided I’d better leave and get back to my mom. I informed Lisette that I’d leave the car and catch an Uber back to the hospital. But she gently stopped me and told me not to go because my car was just about finished! Five minutes later, I was in my car, completely relieved, and headed back to the hospital. I know my review is long and not typical, but I just wanted Lisette and the Lexus team to know how much I appreciate her going the extra mile for me on that Friday night back in DEC 2023. She could have rightly informed me that I arrived too late and my car could not be serviced, but she did not. Instead, she made sure that my car was in working order when I left. This thoughtful gesture meant even more to me because of my mom’s grave condition (she passed away 3 days later) and my fragile mental state. So thank you, Lisette, for your outstanding customer service, stellar support, and kind disposition! You exemplify the qualities and people skills that many of us should strive for! Lori R. More

What Is the definition of insanity dong the same thing twice and getting the same results. My low scores is due to several reasons. First bathroom toilets do no flush and bathroom is dirty. I reported to service and they said they would have it cleaned, never did. NO perks like water, coffee, so if you are there all day, NOT GOOD, I guess I am spoiled by the CERRITOS customer care, clean lobby and snacks, Next I made the mistake of purchasing a car there but NO ONE is able to help me with question, because none of sales people or service people own a Lexus. This is not a place to purchase a car, they are NOT helpful, the only time you hear from them is when they want you to submit a review. Please do your research before coming here, Tim is a good nice sales rep, I wish he gave me more information, but he doesn't know much about the car, I highly recommend you choose another dealership. More

- excellent professional service and teamwork from the internet sales team (talal b) to the service team (advisor brian jones and his team, from the loaner administrator to the check in/out service repres internet sales team (talal b) to the service team (advisor brian jones and his team, from the loaner administrator to the check in/out service representatives). the teamwork among the team members provided confidence to a stress free process. - talal b took ownership when the maintenance service needed was presented to him. since he was part of the sales team, he could have passed the customer off; instead, he made sure the customer was properly and efficiently taken care of. - the service advisor, brian jones, was the "case manager" of the maintenance service needed. he saw through the whole service from beginning to end with precision, punctuality, thoroughness, and friendliness. he was transparent and provided precise and effective communication / guidance throughout. his timeline for the service was spot-on. he will be definitely contacted again for the next maintenance service. - not to be forgotten were the 11/07 3-4pm check in/out representatives for their extra effort to ensure the customer was taken care of. their attentive customer service is a reflection of the quality of the management team.
