I was given complete freedom to explore both the new and used inventory. A courteous salesman stood off and didn't approach until I indicated I needed help. He turned out to be highly knowledgeable and willing to work with me. I ended up purchasing a preowned ES300 which was in imaculate condition. I don't think there is any car on the lot which was not in near perfect condition. You literally can't make a mistake. All of the preowned inventory has been carefully screened by several departments before it ever reaches the sales floor. This is a trully great dealership. More

Under no circumstances would I recommend South Bay Lexus as this is the second time I have scheduled routine service one week in advance, only to have them not perform service in a timely manner, and let my as this is the second time I have scheduled routine service one week in advance, only to have them not perform service in a timely manner, and let my vehicle sit in the service area for several hours, without any work being done. After several calls to managers and service technicians with promises of a return calls, messages were not given to managers, calls were not returned and they took no responsbility for inconvenience, annoyance and poor service. Do yourself a a favor and SKIP THIS DEALERSHIP ALL TOGETHER!!! Total disregard for customer service. Go elsewhere. More
Went there with my wife a few months ago. to look at IS300. Sales guy (Vietnamese) asked what we were driving now (a pretty new RAV4) and questioned why we would look at Lexus as if our ability to buy IS300. Sales guy (Vietnamese) asked what we were driving now (a pretty new RAV4) and questioned why we would look at Lexus as if our ability to buy a Lexus was questioned. That did not go well with my wife!<br><br>Tried the IS300 (sales person refused to explain E-shift, saying that it is too complicated!) just around the very short block (refused to go up the hill). Kept saying 'floor it, floor it". Back at the dealer, hesitated to show the engine, misrepresented the fact that ES330 is FWD as against RWD IS300.<br><br>Told him we would go test a Benz next door; he said no problem, we will be back.<br><br>Did indeed go back after the Benz test, but by then he was too busy to even come and ask us to wait. My wife grabbed me and we left.<br><br>I went on the net, found a good deal at carsdirect.com and baught the IS from them, probably saving thousands and lots of time and no aggravation from skeptical and unknowledgeable sales person.
