Tried to rip off my father on a repair. My parents had a mishap in Norman, Ok where my mother broke her hip traveling to TX for the winter. I drove my Kia to Norman and left it for my 82 yea My parents had a mishap in Norman, Ok where my mother broke her hip traveling to TX for the winter. I drove my Kia to Norman and left it for my 82 year old father to drive, while I drove to TX with their tow car to retrieve their motorhome. While my father was using my car, it developed a squeal in the front and brought it to Big Red Sports since it eas close to the hospital where my mother was. They told him all the brakes where shot, the rotors were bad and the calipers seized. He got a quote for over $800 for the repair. He called me and asked what to do. I told him to wait until I got back with their RV and I would look at it. I took the wheels off in the back of the hospital parking lot and had a look. The calipers were NOT siezed, and the rotors looked fine. So I went to NAPA and bought some brake pads for $50, and a caliper compressor at Harbor Frieght for $6, and replaced the brake pads in the parking lot and took maybe 25 minutes tops to complete. I think they saw an old man and decided to try to fleece him, fortunately he knew BS when he heard it and didn't go through with the repairs. I would get a second opinion before having these guys work on anything. $56 vs. $800+, you tell me... More

Con Men and a total waste of time David contacted me about buying my truck from an Internet add : We agreed on a price and a meeting location, when his drivers finally met with me t David contacted me about buying my truck from an Internet add : We agreed on a price and a meeting location, when his drivers finally met with me they wanted to scan my truck for codes. They then tripped the check engine light and said I had several electrical codes and we’re going to back out of the deal. My truck has been dealer maintained since new so this was a surprise to me, so I went streight to the dealer who said that their cheap code reader tripped the codes. Now I’m 2 hrs from home wasted a full day lost a $500 deposit on a new truck and these guys didn’t even offer to buy my gas infact they won’t even answer the phone. Just another bunch of used car dealers and you wonder why they get a bad reputation. More
