Sucks don't go here This car dealership takes the cake on scamming people. They need to be investigated and revealed to the world how deceitful they are when selling cars This car dealership takes the cake on scamming people. They need to be investigated and revealed to the world how deceitful they are when selling cars. Me and my husband went to this Dealership looking for a Toyota we found on Carfax. When we showed up before they showed us the car we had to have our credit ran. I really wanted to see this car so me and my husband did what they wanted us to do. They found out we both have really good credit and was determined to sell us a brand new Kia Forte. I personally did not want a Kia, but was talked into purchasing one. They asked us what monthly payment would we want, so we said between 2 and 3 hundred. We also had a trade in that we still owed like $926. The Salesman made it seem like we could get into the car for cheap. The MSRP was around 18 thousand and something. So we were under the impression the cost of the car would be around that price. I really wasn't interested in a KIA so they kept pushing. I wanted to see the car we came to look at. They said oh it is at our other car lot. We can drive the Forte over there, we did and yes the car was at that location. The inside of the car was torn up, someone didn't take very good care of the car. So of course our salesman said you can get a brand new car for around the same price as this Toyota. I wanted a back up camera and remote start, so he said if I can get you those two things and keep your monthly payment what you want will you buy the car. I so wish we would have walked away at that moment...... By the way this car was a basic standard car that every other new car has, it did not have all the bells and whistles. We need to rewind back a little earlier in the day. We asked about tag, title and tax. He said it should be around $700 for the price of this car, that sounded reasonable. He also talked about the tires only costing about $45 when it comes time to change them, that sounded really good. I haven't priced tires yet to find out. So you see, it sounded like this would be a good investment, something we could manage and afford. I am pretty positive our tag, title and tax will not be $700 more like about 12 or 13 hundred. Ok back to the Kia....Once we said yes they wanted the keys to the Jeep and told us to sit down and wait. While we waited my husband researched the Forte, it didn't sound to bad. The color is a beautiful bronze color which caught my eye. Yes it is a really pretty car. So the whole time we were researching the car we should have been researching the Dealership. Little did we know they were scheming a way to gives us a bad deal. We waited for a long time, then finally comes our sorta finance person. He said we can get you payments of 302 a month for 75 months. We were so tired from the day we didn't think about doing to math. I wasn't really happy with that monthly payment, but said ok anyways. I asked about the Jeep he said the best they could give us was $1500. So we really only could apply what was left from what we owed on our payoff. I tried to get ahold of my brother to see if he wanted it,instead of trading it in. I couldn't contact him to find out. So Josh said if he wanted it to call him and he would sell it to him wholesale. Our next step was to sign some paperwork, none of it had the final price of the car. We still thought we were paying around $18 thousand and some. Let me remind you we were beat and tired, our brains were turned off by this time. Well we finished with that paperwork and waited again to finish the deal. Even if at that moment we said nevermind we were still legally tied to that car, even though we had not signed the final contract yet. So we go into the office and start our final event of the day. Our loan closer was only on his second day of the job, he was having issues and couldn't get things to print correctly. Well the final cost of the car started out $26 thousand and some. It was before our trade amount was taken offf, and before Gap and the extended warranty. Which by the way was told we really needed it since the car has 28 computers that could malfunction. Our monthly payments are $330 for $75 months. The full price of the car didn't register until the next day when we had a clear mind. We never did sign a bill of sale on the jeep. At this time the jeep still isn't paid off. We did the paperwork on March 17th and it is now March 28th. The loan closer called my husband on Monday March 19th and asked if we still owed money on the jeep.( He forgot) So I am hoping that gets taking care of. So Monday I talked to Josh our finance guy (the following Monday after the sale) asked why we paid so much for the car. He said he isn't the one we need to talk to. We need to talk to a Sales Manager. So I spent the next couple of days trying to talk to one. I finally got ahold of one Thursday morning. He said he was right in the middle of an audit, but would look over my paperwork and would call me by lunch time. I never received a call.....when I got off of work, I had a message to call the finance manager. Me and my husband called, he said he doesn't handle our issue, we needed to talk to a sales manager. So we got back in touch with Franklin. I asked if we could redo the contract, he said no that the Dealership was already funded the money. I asked if he could cut me a check for the difference, he doesn't have that authority to do so. Me and my husband just wanted a fair deal. The amount of money we are paying on this car, We could've got a way better car but cheaper. Franklin said he would talk to his General Manager and get back with us the next day. The next day came and no phone call. I called Kia to put in a complaint, they could do nothing for me. She said the Dealerships are Franchises, they don't have any control over what they do. So I asked to talk to the finance department. They could not find us in their system yet. Remember Franklin said the financing was all done, he lied. We called the Dealership twice to talk to Franklin, he was supposed to call us back and never did. (Friday night) So the next day which was Saturday we went up to the Dealership to talk to Franklin. We waited and waited, finally we talked to another sales manager Rod. We told our story, he said the GM was out of town but would call us on Monday. We never received a phone call. Remember my brother, he text me Sunday (the day after we traded the jeep) to find out what he had to do to get the Jeep. I told him I would call the Dealership and tell them he wants the jeep. I was told my brother needed to call and quickly because three people wanted to buy it. He called, supposedly they sold it the night before....they aren't even open on Sundays...they lied again. We did get the remote start put in and the back up camera. The back up camera was the rear view mirror kinda disappointing. So at this point we are still waiting on the jeep loan to be paid off. It rained yesterday and the driver seat was wet and no the windows were not down. I see a battle coming.... By the way they have been revoked from the BBB. Sent from Yahoo Mail on Android More
