Awful customer service I took my car in for headlight issues that I had been having, such as sometimes working, sometimes not. The guy at the front computers said nothing to I took my car in for headlight issues that I had been having, such as sometimes working, sometimes not. The guy at the front computers said nothing to me but “where’s your keys?” when I walked in. Was quoted an hour wait and that they would call me when/if they found the issue. 1.6 hours go by, and I call THEM, and they say that there’s a “burned out switch” that needs to be replaced for $350. In the very next sentence he tells me “the switch has a short”. Different things. He then asks if I leave my headlights on at all times, I tell him yes, and he then tells me that that is why my lights are burned out. He told me both headlights work, when I know that when I pulled in, only the left one worked. He told me the mechanic hit it, it came on, and then went back off, so he mistook that for both of the headlights to be working. I asked him since there was such confusion in the situation, if I replace both bulbs that are “burnt out/work when you hit them”, and keep my lights turned off during the day, would that help my problem? He said yes. So to replace both bulbs was quoted at $25. Alright cool. He says there’s also a steering recall that needs to be fixed, will take 30 minutes, and they will call me when it’s ready. 50 minutes pass and I call THEM (6 times) to get through to the service department, finally I ask if my car is ready and they tell me yes. I didn’t even bother asking why I was having to call them to get information. So after a total of 3 hours, left in the dark, confusion/misinformation, and being treated like I know nothing, I have my car back with new bulbs. I’m not sure who the front guy is who checks people in, but his customer service skills aren’t good. I work in the service industry as well, and I never leave bad reviews because I understand what it’s like to have to deal with people. But this was honestly the worst experience I’ve ever had with any service department/dealership. And I’ve bought cars from dealerships before. That’s saying something. More
