After alot research I decided to purchase a Subaru Forester. I had contact w/ several dealerships from Green Bay (where I live) down to Milwaukee. Sommer's was the only dealership that just answered my questions. There was no push to buy from them. There was no pressure that b/c they were spending so much time w/me that I was obligated to buy from them. Nobody made me feel stupid for asking so many questions. Their email team is awesome. They gave me a quote that was where it was suppose to be according to the research I had done. I worked w/ that as my baseline. I'd get info from other dealers and email Angela or Tina w/ questions or clarifications and they presented me the info I needed to feel like an informed buyer. Sommer's always had the lowest price but I felt I should buy local so I tried to "deal" w/ other dealerships closer to my area. They were not willing to work w/ me. I was concerned about buying from a dealership so far away, but everyone I dealt w/ from the email team to financing team were excellent,which made me comfortable w/ my purchasing decision. I got a 2011 Forester for just a coule of hundred dollars more than a preowned 2010 which was what I was initially looking at. More
I have bought a few cars in my lifetime and NEVER has it been such a pleasant experience. I would highly recommend Sommer's and Austin if you are shopping for a car. I have told several folks about this dealership. I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, five hours away from this showroom, and I would recommend folks in the U.P. take the time to drive down. Sommer's will make your trip worth while. Wow so I'm back in English class now? This dealership is obviously trying very very hard to make top dealer rating in the greater Milwaukee area. I did, too, but subaru still made the better car for my needs and they had it--it came in the very day I visited, and the salesman called me immediately. I was recently in an accident in which my car was totaled by the other driver. I was not expecting to need to go car shopping at this time and a lot of dealersips were not understanding if the situation I wa by the other driver. I was not expecting to need to go car shopping at this time and a lot of dealersips were not understanding if the situation I was in, but when I went to Sommers I immediately felt as though Jeremy was genuinely interested in helping me out rather than rushing me to purchase one of their cars. I test drove the Forrester and immedialy fell in love with it but was still struggling to get everything settled with the insurance companies. Jeremy was also extremely understanding of what I wanted in a car and when I decided to change my mind from purchasing a used car to a new car, he immediately worked to find the perfect car for me. The individuals at the dealership were also extremely considerate of my time and work schedule. They called at appropriate hours and when I asked to be contacted via email during work hours they were extremely accommodating. When I was finally able to figure out everything with the insurance companies and was ready to purchase the Forrester, Jeremy stayed late so that I could get the car. When I found out that Jeremy was staying late on a Friday night and I told him I could finish the purchase with another member of the team he told me that he felt that the process of dealing with the accident through the insurance company was not fair for me and that I had been through so much and he wanted to ensure that everything finally would work out and I got my new Forrester. After a month of working with me through this difficult process, Jeremy made sure I was happy with my new car and I could not be more appreciative of his understanding and hard work. I would highly recommend this dealership and the employees to anyone who wants to purchase a Subaru or even just get a better understanding of what is available in the market. More
I have a 2008 Subaru Legacy 2.5i SE which I purchased used in May 2010. The car has been great, but after the snow flew, I discovered that the tires I had on it (summer performance tires) were really not used in May 2010. The car has been great, but after the snow flew, I discovered that the tires I had on it (summer performance tires) were really not meant for snow in Wisconsin - even on an All-Wheel-Drive Subaru. I contacted Gary Mortag, and he researched options for me, and came up with a great solution. I now have my new tires on the vehicle, and am ready to go with all the snow Wisconsin can throw at me! Gary and the service team at Sommers are the best! More
