Following an auto accident, I will drive nothing but a Volvo, and gave CPO Volvos to my children. On a Friday, en route to my job as a nurse, my XC90 hybrid made unusual noises in the mid-rear of the vehicle. Seemed dire, and was towed to a local Volvo dealer. They were unable to duplicate the noise, and I was assured all was okay. When driving away, the same noise was immediately audible. Needing reliable transportation for my job, I went with my gut, and transferred the car to the only dealership I trusted to both listen to my concerns, but also trusted to have the expertise for a repair of any complexity. Long story short, a tiny, insignificant part inside the hybrid engine broke off, which created the noise. Further, REPLACEMENT of the entire hybrid transmission AND hybrid engine was immediately required! (Thank you extended warranty!). Thank you, Smythe Volvo, and Service Rep Dina Thompson for LISTENING to my concerns. THANK YOU to your gifted mechanic Jun Choi, who, like a detective, skillfully revealed the obscure origins of the issue, and whose expertise was able to restore my trusty, spacious, and slightly decked-out, XC90 hybrid to its original (and awesome) condition....Thanks to also to Sales Consultant Kyle Jackson for the reliable CPO S60 for the daughter, and for his pearls of wisdom...and to the entire Smythe Team for watching out for your customers as though they were part of your family. :) More

I would expect ion delivery of a certified used vehicle, filters replaced, and functional system features/applications. Service within 9K to have several system features addressed. Several days in shop res filters replaced, and functional system features/applications. Service within 9K to have several system features addressed. Several days in shop resulted in a fully restored Navigation system and other features still not working. Currently at another dealer to see if they can be resolved. Disappointing… Tom was great! More
