This was my first time dealing with Smythe Volvo. I spoke with Gary when making the appointment for the 22,500 mile service for my wifes 2011 S40. He was very helpful. Tom was the gentlemen that assisted me when dropping off the vehicle. Tom was also very helpful and attentive when I was explaining my concerns regarding excessive road noise at low speeds. Drop off process only took about 5 - 10 minutes. Tom also called me later in the day to fully explain the cause of the road noise issue and the recommended solution. I was able to pick up the car by the requested time. The pick up process took no more than 5 minutes. Both Gary and Tom were very professional when handling my service appointment, which quite honestly, is what is expected when you drive a premium brand automobile. Overall experience was very pleasant and I will be returning to Smythe at the 30k service interval. Well done Gary and Tom. More

The assigned ratings were given because Sean, Tom, and Doug took the time to listen to my problem, properly diagnose the problem, and effectively correct the problem in a cost efficient and timely manner. They also went above and beyond to give me one of their personal vehicles to use for a few days while they worked on my car, which allowed me to attend several business meetings and not disrupt my family or business. I needed an oil change on short notice...This was my fault for not scheduling sooner and yet again they were able to take care of us... My husband and I seem to have established a brand loyalty with Volvo. We are now driving our fourth model and have purchased and serviced three of the the four from Smythe Volvo. Since our lifestyle supports vehicle needs for two (and at times -three) people, we have also had the need to consistently own multiple vehicles at a time. Thereby, giving us the luxury of owning other brands, as well. From a comparison standpoint, the buying experience at Smythe Volvo, was always excellent. We also tend to have all of our automobile service needs taken care of at the purchase location. Therefore, we have had experience with many of the Service Advisors at Smythe through the years. From the initial appointment call to the point where you drive the serviced vehicle away, the experience is professional and satisfying. You are treated with the utmost respect as a customer and a Volvo owner. Not only do the Service Advisors engage in dialogue about the scheduled/routine maintenance issues, but they take the time to uncover/address any other issues that may be arising with the vehicle. While all of the Service Advisors are excellent, I feel compelled to mention Tony Pelsh. He is the epitome of "service with a smile." He has gone the extra mile on numerous occasions and always makes the service visit ---enjoyable, whether you are waiting in the customer lounge or driving a loaner. Smythe Volvo Service continues to get our "thumbs-up" approval! I always recommend the dealership to anyone that happens to notice my car---or that is in the market for a new purchase. The team at Smythe deserves the recommendation! More
