AS WE ALL KNOW GOING TO BUY A NEW CAR IN NEW JERSEY IS LIKE HAVING TO GO TO THE DOCTORS TO GET A SERIES OF RABIES SHOTS. WHEN MY WIFE TOLD ME THAT SHE WANTED A NEW CAR BECAUSE THE BABY IS ALMOST HERE, TH LIKE HAVING TO GO TO THE DOCTORS TO GET A SERIES OF RABIES SHOTS. WHEN MY WIFE TOLD ME THAT SHE WANTED A NEW CAR BECAUSE THE BABY IS ALMOST HERE, THE FIRST THING I THOUGHT OF WAS SPENDING AN ENTIRE SATURDAY AT A DEALER "NEGOTIATING A DEAL". MY WIFE WANTED AN SUV W/ ALL WHEEL DRIVE SO I STARTED DOING MY RESEARCH. I WAS PUSHING THE HONDA AND TOYOTA, BUT A FRIEND TOLD ME HOW MUCH THEY LOVED THE VOLVO THEY HAD BOUGHT A YEAR EARLIER AND HOW GREAT THE DEALER WAS. I REACHED OUT TO THE SALESMAN THAT HELPED THEM WHEN THEY BOUGHT THEIR CAR AND I WAS BLOWN AWAY. HIS NAME WAS CHRIS HENRIKSEN AND THE DEALER WAS SMYTHE, IN SUMMIT NJ. CHRIS GAVE ME THE PRICE OVER THE PHONE, AND WHEN WE GOT THERE IT WAS EXACTLY LIKE HE SAID. WE WERE IN AND OUT IN UNDER AN HOUR. SOMETHING WAS WRONG, IT WAS A PLEASURE TO DEAL WITH THEM. IT WAS STRAIGHT FORWARD, RIGHT FROM THE BEGINNING TO THE VERY END WHEN WE DROVE HER NEW CAR AWAY. WE GOT A GREAT PRICE AND COULDN'T BE HAPPIER. I shopped extensively for a new S60 and was having a hard time finding the exact car I was looking for. Tom found the car I was looking for without me even stepping into the dealership.
