In 1984, my parents bought a ruby red Volvo 240 DL station wagon from Smythe Volvo at its previous location. We loved that car. From the moment I set foot in Smythe, Brian Gagliardi was a consummate sales professional: easy to work with, knowledgeable about different options, and - most of all - dedicated to getting me the best deal for my money. He understood how hard I was working as a teacher, and he found me exactly the make and model that would satisfy me in every way. My XC 60 is simply amazing! (I would have loved ruby red, but denim blue with a blonde interior ain’t too shabby.) The Smythe staff treated me so well from the start to the finish, too. Paul was great showing me some of tech specs once I sealed the deal. Never have I had such an awesome car-buying experience as I had there, and that’s not an exaggeration in any way. Soon thereafter, he had my loaner vehicle to use for the day, ensured I was comfortable with driving round a tight bend, and I was on my way. Later on, after he called me to notify me that my car was ready to pick up, he walked me through the work and returned me the car with the same thoroughness and efficiency as we had exchanged vehicles in the morning. Bob the salesman balanced answering questions and unlike other salesman from other Volvo dealerships, stayed patient and followed-up with diligence. I am very happy with my new XC60 and have to say that the young gentleman that walked me through the details of the new car with a new operating system was patient as well and deserves kudos as well as the finance person, Howard Wu and Emilia. Everyone I worked with there for my car purchase made the deal seamless and the experience a positive car buying process. Thank you. More
