Just wanted to give a shoutout to James, Danielle, and Tom. On 5 separate occasions In one week (YIKES), 2 separate cars, they went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure our cars were still covered Tom. On 5 separate occasions In one week (YIKES), 2 separate cars, they went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure our cars were still covered under warranty and repaired under warranty. Our Eos got a flat that was not repairable, but had road hazard on the tire so it was repaired properly and cheaply - thanks to Danielle. About 3 days later, our radio in the Eos went kaput. James did a terrific job looking into our extended warranty to see if we were covered for a new radio, which unfortunately expired - we ended up taking the Eos and having an aftermarket radio with a reverse camera and navigation put it, but thank you James for looking into that for us. A new VW radio would’ve been just as much, and it’s pretty dated without a reverse camera. I took the Tiguan in for shocks because I had the left rear and right front leaking. To save a little bit, I went with aftermarket shocks, but only trusted Volkswagen to put them in (it’s a very tedious process). My control arm bushings from the car parts store (non-VW) were wrong, but thankfully they had the correct ones in stock. They also performed an alignment. The used tire place that put tires on my car lost a wheel lug, and my car was shaking like crazy at above 50 mph. Those dopes at the used tire place never balanced my tires, and lost a lug nut. Although I was panicking and in hysteria, I took the car to BJ’s to get the wheels balanced, and their tech wrote that I was missing a lug nut (on a Sunday). So thankfully James was able to take one of the lugs from my wheel lock kit in the trunk and install it 1-2-3, and I was super appreciative of that. My biggest fear was that my tire was going to go flying on the highway and kill me or someone else, but the other 4 were on the car. The following day I took the Tiguan in after hearing strange crackling noises and Tom took a ride with me to hear the noise and we both heard it. Although the car looked fine, and everything was all tight, I decided to return with the car on a later date when the crackling becomes unbearable. The people at Saab and Volkswagen genuinely care about you and your cars and they don’t rip you off. They’ve been honest since day 1 back in 2006 with our first Passat. I think the entire 14 years we’ve been customers we’ve only had one minor issue with them replacing a light bulb on one of the Passats and it burning out the next day, but they replaced it again. Wasn’t their fault, just a bad headlight or parking light or directional bulb - I forgot which bulb it was. We will remain VW customers until the wheels fall off (hopefully in our driveway), and until our cars require a repair that exceeds the car’s worth - then we will most likely lease or buy another Volkswagen. More

Treated Great! Came in hoping to not repeat a bad experience at another dealer and I got treated great. Unrelated to the bad experience, I asked the other dealer look for an antifreeze leak 25,000 earlier while it was under warranty. They couldn’t find it. Smithtown found it during routine maintenance by themselves and then told me it was still under warranty. Only by about 3k short. I didn’t realize it was a 60 k power train warranty. Looking out for me - what a concept! And a loaner car overnight to boot. And it didn’t need brakes or tires when I asked them to check. Definitely coming back. BTW. I almost never do surveys and hate the hard sell, “ if you don’t give me the highest rating then I failed”. Didn’t happen here, no calls etc. This the second email to see if I was happy. I had the service done about two months ago. Great job! More
