To start, I never had any intentions on buying a Saab, but since it was in the area, I decided to check it out. My experience has been that when you walk into a dealership, there's usually a host/greeter. but since it was in the area, I decided to check it out. My experience has been that when you walk into a dealership, there's usually a host/greeter. Well, when I walked in the guy at the front desk spun he chair around to give me his back. Sad part was, he's a salesperson. He finally breaks down to ask what I'm looking for. I tell him that I'd like to see convertible and here's where it goes south. I went in there about 4:30 pm on Aug. 7, 2010, he brought me to the front of the lot to show me a silver 2010 conv near the sidewalk that looked fifteen years old. Live mildew on the back seat, leaves in the car, stain on the inside of the ragtop, trash in the door pocket and just all-around dirty. It seemed to me that someone had left the top down and either rain or a sprinkler had soaked the car. But at this dealership no one cares to clean it out. I told the lil salesman how disappointed I was with the vehicle's condition and his carefree attitude. He claimed that he told the mgr about the car but he hadn't done anything about it. The salesman claimed that the mgr doesn't care about Saab part of the business, only the VW side. $44k is a lot of money to me. I don't need you to jump through hopes, but d@mn! At least fake it for me. And dear lazy salesman, Maybe it's worth you taking the initiative and cleaning it yourself. You haven't sold the car yet, now might be a good time to try a different approach. Don't waste your time looking at the Saab conv near the street and forget about the lil man helping you. More

One of the worst experiences of my life. My 900 SE 2.0 Tur Saab needed emergency repairs, so I had it towed into Smithtown Saab, if you can even call it that. They proceeded to rip me off for repairs I did not need, and one of their service people stole my Ipod out of the glove box. Stay as far away from these people as possible. Saab is going under anyway. It's pretty obvious why. More
I wouldn't send my worst enemy to this dealership. They try and hit you for more repairs than necessary, and charge for work not needed. I know of many other people who have experienced the same lousy t try and hit you for more repairs than necessary, and charge for work not needed.
