My car is three years old and has over hundred thousand miles on – recently I brought the car in to get detailed for the winter – and there was a manufacturers defect in the paint throughout the center of miles on – recently I brought the car in to get detailed for the winter – and there was a manufacturers defect in the paint throughout the center of the car… It was not significant, [t and I didn't notice it ] the service department asked Acura corporate to repaint the entire vehicle even though I was over the manufacturers warranty and the extended warranty I purchased! Within a few weeks the car was completed and looks showroom perfect! they provided me with a beautiful and fully optioned loaner during the entire process. And kept me updated each week regarding the progress. there are not enough praises I could say to express my gratitude for their honesty and diligence in providing the best service! This is not my first car through this dealership and will not be my last – getting a car at a "great price" is fantastic until the day it needs service… It's that day that determines whether or not you received a "Great Deal" – it may sound hokey… But 4 cars later - I can always say at Smithtown Acura I have always received a "Great Deal!" Our salesman Brian was excellent as he described every feature on the RDX, went for the test drive with us and explained the whole purchasing process. We were able to negotiate a bit on the price which w feature on the RDX, went for the test drive with us and explained the whole purchasing process. We were able to negotiate a bit on the price which was a benefit and allowed us to add other accessories, like a roof rack and side mouldings. They washed and waxed the car prior to us picking it up also. I could see the swirl marks from the waxing and had to buff them out myself, which was the only negative of the whole experience. More
This was my first experience with Acura, and I would have to say it was outstanding! Since it was the first time I was purchasing a car, I was a bit nervous.
