Really great service from everyone. The sales people on the showroom floor were very friendly. They were very open and sicere about completeing the sale with no double talk or tricks. They were busy when my boyfriend and I walked in but the manager Marcel was running around looking for a free sales person. He made us tea while we waited. Poor Adam our sales person was sick and even so he manager Marcel was running around looking for a free sales person. He made us tea while we waited. Poor Adam our sales person was sick and even so he was so helpful. We had gone to a few dealers before we went here but it was our last stop we brought a used Jeep. It was a little out of our price range but Marcel brought the payments down to within our range. I was very happy with the experience and would defiantly buy here again. Also a side note my boyfriend brought his Mazda New from the same place 2 years prior. More
The salesman we worked with was very friendly. The Manager named Joe was extremely rude cutting me off in mid sentence, he was unwilling negotiate with us. The service department at Smithhaven is superb! Bill the service consultant always recommends what is right for my car and never over charges me for work. He is honest and just overall a good person. I just needed to mention that because he does such a great job every time I'm there I needed to get a new vehicle since my old one was pretty badly broken mechanically, and I figured I would talk to the sales department. Craig was more then happy to show me the car I was looking for and, the let me test drive a couple models. Best thing is I didn't have to ask for details, he explained everything about the cars and answered all my questions. He even came down on his day off to help finalize everything with finance and my insurance company. He followed through with the entire sale. My father who was with me told me that he had never had a more pleasant experience. He always told me that he hates dealing with new cars and dealerships but was completely taken off guard by how excellently we were treated here at Smithhaven. Before I knew it I was all set to drive off in my beautiful new Lancer Evolution! I was greeted by Ryan at the dealership while I was looking for a used SUV. I think that Ryan went above and beyond in helping me try and find a vehicle that fit my needs financially and functionally. looking for a used SUV. I think that Ryan went above and beyond in helping me try and find a vehicle that fit my needs financially and functionally. He is very knowledgable about his brand (mitsubishi) and if I stumped him on a question with an SUV outside of his brand, he didn't try and lie to me. He tirelessly would get the 'expert' on that manufacturer until my questions were all answered. Ryan was patient as I had my three young children in tow and even came in on his day off to accomodate me. In the end we did not find the perfect fit and for the first time ever, I actually felt bad for the car salesman as I wanted to buy a car from him just to give him the commission that he deserved. In addition to Ryan's professionalism and straight forward approach, I had the pleasure of dealing with two managers, Jessica and Vinny. Both were straight shooters and understood my needs and limitations and tried to accomodate me the best way they could. I was even happy to deal with the finance department as we were trying to see what numbers would work for me and they were also upfront and to the point without trying to pressure me into something I told them I couldn't afford. Overall, the experience was good and although in the end we did not do business I was quite pleased with my experience with those employees. More
