This was my first experience buying a car. I had visited many dealerships that were in the area, and Mazda was my favorite. The entire staff, especially the employees that worked with me, we very nice and f many dealerships that were in the area, and Mazda was my favorite. The entire staff, especially the employees that worked with me, we very nice and friendly. They were not pushy whatsoever and never pressured me into making a decision I didn't want to make. They also gave me a great price for the car and worked to get me the payments that I wanted. I told them my maximum would be $250 per month and they made that happen. When I was working with Adam and Richie, I was very comfortable with them when compared to the other dealerships I visited. They seemed willing to make me happy in whatever way they could, and they greatly succeeded. Part of the reason I chose the car I did had to do with the staff at the dealership. I am extremely happy with the overall experience and with the car that I bought. I would gladly recommend this dealership to others. More
Both Mary and Randy were completely instrumental in helping us get the right car for our family, at the right price. They really cared and worked so hard to get the numbers to work in our favor it seem helping us get the right car for our family, at the right price. They really cared and worked so hard to get the numbers to work in our favor it seemed as if they were buying the car for themselves! They did this without pressuring us into anything and they took their time to get to know us and our situation. They also "went to bat" for us to help us obtain financing. In the end, it resulted in us feeling completely comfortable with the outcome of the car we bought and we had a great experience at Smith Haven Mazda. They have gained us as customers for now and for the years to come. More
Bought a used 2010 Mazda 3 S Sport for top dollar with 30k miles on it...dealer was friendly all around...some highs and lows in making the deal but I pulled the trigger as the car had all the specs I wan 30k miles on it...dealer was friendly all around...some highs and lows in making the deal but I pulled the trigger as the car had all the specs I wanted...upon delivery car had an overpowering perfume smell from a bomb deodorizer they used which I guess they used to freshen up the car...I was wrong...a month later the perfume smell went away and the car now smells like cigarettes...stinks like xxxx of cigarette smoke...Smith Haven Mazda masked the cigarette smell to dump the car on me...just wanted to warn others...if you smell a heavy dose of perfume smell in their used cars, run away if you are a nonsmoker like me......they did nothing to help me but ignore me...buyer beware and thank you... More

The service was fast, everyone was super friendly and I love my new Mazda CX9! John Metrinko was knowledgable about my new vehicle and came with me on a test drive. He made my experience at Mazda easy and stress free. Bill D'Donato did not put any pressure on me when handling the financial aspect of purchasing the car. And, Jay Sarasky was such a pleasure to deal with as he handled the behind the scenes discussions regarding the purchase price. Thank you Smith Haven Mazda for helping me finance my new car! More
I had a pleasant experience getting a new car at Smith Haven Mazda. I was in a tight situation to get a new car same-day, after selling my old one in a private sale. I had spoken to Sales Representative, Jim, on the phone, whom I asked if they had the car type and color I wanted available. Within 10 minutes, I received a call back that they did have it available. Upon arriving, Jim had the car already parked at the front, ready to let me test drive it, and thoroughly explained the car's features. Upon deciding to go ahead with the purchase, Jim, and the rest of the crew at Smith Haven Mazda were very patient, friendly, and constantly kept me updated on the status of the car, and my applications for credit and insurance needs. Within a couple of hours, I was off driving my new 2013 Mazda3 i Sport! Overall, I was very impressed with the customer service at Smith Haven Mazda and would highly recommend associate Jim for his friendliness and outstanding customer service. I look forward to returning for my future service needs! More

We first test drove the CX5 about a year ago when it first came out. We were not a fan at the time. We just found it lacked the power we were used to with our 2003 Mazda Tribute. After several months of searching for a new car, and visiting numerous dealerships in our area, we decided to return to Smith Haven Mazda as we saw that the CX5 had an upgrade in the engine. Long story short, on 2/17/13, we traded in our 2003 Mazda Tribute and purchased a 2014 CX5. The service from John Metrinko and General Manager Jay Sarasky exceeded our expectations. John was professional, friendly and extremely accomodating. Such a pleasure to work with, along with every one else in your staff. Jay was great and although we didn't get quite what we had hoped for our trade in, well, he went the extra distance to accomodate us. (He also makes a mean cup of coffee! LOL). As previous Mazda owners, we have delt with your dealership before and must also say that the service department deserves praise as well. went in to have brakes checked on my 2010 Galant less then 20K miles(they squeked). Service department claimed I needed new brakes and rotars. Had work done brakes still squeaked! Three days later I heard a grinding noise coming from front tire. I looked and found the entire brake assembly came undone and was resting on the inside of my rim, damaging the rim. I called dealership and they insisted I drive the vehicle over or have it towed at MY expense. I brought the vehicle over and they reassembled the detached caliper/ brake harness and handed me my keys. When I complained about the rim being ruined they claimed "the damage can't be seen" and refused to replace it. Only after I insisted did they reluctantly replace the rim. The brakes continue to squeak leading me to suspect that the brakes never needed to be replaced in the first place. More

I was interested in a Dodge Challenger and Smith Haven Mazda had a few on their lot. Adam came outside and had me take a test ride in one of their cars. After the ride, he asked me how I liked the car a Mazda had a few on their lot. Adam came outside and had me take a test ride in one of their cars. After the ride, he asked me how I liked the car and I told him I was intersted in a white RT. He brought me over to the Smith Haven Dodge used car lot where they had a low mileage white RT. I drove that car and after the test drive Adam spent at least another 45 mins. answering my questions. I made an appointment with him to come back and see the car with my son and Adam was very helpful! I paid a very fair price and Adam went out of his way to make sure that my requests were met. I woud recommend Adam Penna as he is very concerned about making his customers happy and will go the extra mile for them! More
