On 11/16/22 I purchase a certified pre owned Mazda 3 sedan with 32k miles. This dealership sold me the car with damage to the rear bumper and the front of the car covered in 100 rock chips. I did sedan with 32k miles. This dealership sold me the car with damage to the rear bumper and the front of the car covered in 100 rock chips. I did not notice before purchase as it was night time and the car was not clean. I notified my salesman and requested speaking to the managers after the sale was made and no one gave a xxxx at all. This dealership also refused to give me the 160 CPO inspection that is REQUIRED by Mazda corporate to give the customer when they buy a CPO car. They are a phonies at this dealership selling dishonest CPO cars that don’t meet the entire 160 points on the inspection checklist. Tyler the service manager told DSM from Mazda Corp that “100 rock chips on a CPO used car at only 32k miles is normal wear and tear”. Tyler, you lied to Mazda corporate, you know that’s not normal wear and tear for only 32k miles. This dealership’s lack of working with me after the sale was made is what makes me despise this dealership. Also the fake reviews this dealership makes on DealerRater saying the salesman Phil sold 5 CX-5s from Apr 18-21, 2023 just shows this dealer’s shady business practices. DO NOT USE THIS DEALERSHIP. A case manager from Mazda Corp told me that Smith Haven Mazda is one of the most commonly complained about dealerships from customers at corporate level. They deserve to lose their dealer’s license with the dishonest and fraudulent business practices they pull More

I would recommend Phil Villagran salesman not pushy and made himself available through and after the buying process. At SmithHavenMazda they have zero dealership fees and they don't charge you extra if yo made himself available through and after the buying process. I wish you had negative numbers for this dealership because that's what they would get from me. Samantha had contacted me saying that they had the car I wanted in stock & would match any price. She because that's what they would get from me. Samantha had contacted me saying that they had the car I wanted in stock & would match any price. She also said they had great sales running this weekend. I told her I was coming from 30 miles away and asked her not to waste my time. I said all I wanted was that car with Vin# I provided for the lowest price I had documented with no dealer fees. She said, no problem. She set up appointment for 11am on a Sunday & told me to ask for her upon arrival. As soon as I got there, I asked for her. She was not there. The car was not there and even after telling the salesperson how I got screwed, the best they could offer is sticker price on the car. They wouldn't even give me a test drive because they had a good Idea I would not do business with liars. They may Zero attempt to make things right after Samantha blatantly lied on their behalf. Sanantha was wrong and obviously the dealership condones this behavior as long as she brings people into the dealership. I wouldn't buy a car from these liars if they offered me $2k off sticker. Very sad. More
If I could rate a 0 I would! Their website says no games, no gimmicks which is a joke. This whole process has been such a headache.. I tried to use my nav and it didn’t work. The Their website says no games, no gimmicks which is a joke. This whole process has been such a headache.. I tried to use my nav and it didn’t work. They never installed a SIM card. Contacted them and was told it be overnighted. Over a week later I got it in regular mail. Told me they transfer my plates and be no issues. After sitting there for 30 minutes they realized it was too close to my current plates expiring so I had to return the old plates and get new ones. No big deal other than they wanted to charge me processing fees. Since I had to go to DMV to return my plates I said I wasn’t paying them to reg my new car. I just do it. Oh my the headache that came out of that convo. I can’t register my own car? That’s not true. I work in insurance. I had to June with my current car, had extended the lease each month till car prices dropped. First I was informed they take my lease back and I would owe nothing. They take care of it all. I be wiped clean of anything with that madza. I come to take home the car and the story changes. I am now responsible for the car excess wear if any. What? Why was I told I wasn’t? They assure me I have no disposition charge since I was releasing a madza and kept using it as a selling point. I was originally going to lease a Nissan and they convinced me the benefit of staying with madza was lease loyalty n no disposition fees. Lease loyalty amount changed 3 times and now I get a letter from my old lease company asking me a disposition fee. I call the dealership and was told someone get back to me soon. No one called. I reached out to my sales person who got back to me this morning who said oh since u switched who u are leasing through (bank wise) that fee applies. WHAT! I have outstanding credit. Why wouldn’t I just lease through the same bank? Why would you tell me you are now leasing through another bank but still no disposition fee? Lies! I was a return customer this time. I will be contacting madza corporate and the better business bureau. Stay away from Smith Haven Madza and the lies!!!!! Not worth the headache. Oh and my auto start still doesn’t work cause they can’t figure out what’s wrong with their app. More
Came in with a plan and got some help checking out a new Mazda 3. Due to it's low popularity, inventory was low which we knew would happen. Got some information, got to test drive and overall was ready to m Mazda 3. Due to it's low popularity, inventory was low which we knew would happen. Got some information, got to test drive and overall was ready to make a purchase. The trim that we wanted wasn't available but a new 2023 would be coming in soon. While trying to understand pricing, we were essentially told all cars would have a minimum of $2-4k on top of MSRP. Possible discounts for end of month or other events but that would be the starting point. In our haste to get something locked down, we put a $500 deposit on the new car that hadn't even begun production yet so no VIN or pricing or any details were available yet they willingly took our money. The mistake we made was not shopping around to other dealers to see what their pricing was. We found ourselves at Mazda 112 who had the model and trim we wanted at MSRP but on top of that had a discount and a holiday sale bringing the price down $2500 under MSRP. Trying to double check what our deposit could be used for, we were informed it could only be transferred to the purchase/lease of another car at their dealer. Factoring in the loss of the deposit money, we ended up spending $4k less than we would have. The kicker was that we learned the Mazda 112 deposits are refundable. I can't attest to the additional plans or benefits of buying a car from Smith Haven Mazda (I was informed they have some kind of built in package that provides free oil changes and other services) but if purely on the cost of purchasing a car, I would shop around first before committing and putting any kind of deposit down.
