After reading the advertisement in Newsday about the end of year sign and drive and the fact that my wife needed a new car we ventured out to Smith Ha After reading the advertisement in Newsday about the end of year sign and drive and the fact that my wife needed a new car we ventured out to Smith Haven Dodge where we met Jay Marine, Jay showed my wife a few Jeeps, but nothing that caught her attention. Jay was really nice and didn't pressure us, we shook hands and left. We continued looking and then my wife saw a 2015 True Blue Patriot it caught her eye. Because Jay was so nice to us we returned to Smith Haven. When Jay saw us return he was very surprised. He showed my wife a few Patriots and let her drive one. That day we purchased the Jeep from Smith Haven and Jay Marine, Dave the Manager along with both Adams in finance were awesome, they made the purchase stress free, something we had not had in the past, we told them what we wanted to pay and they made it happen. We were so happy with Smith Haven Dodge, so happy I returned on the 21'st of January traded in my 2012 Ram and bought a 2015 all with the help of the best salesman I have had through many vehicle purchases Jay Marine! Thanks Jay, Dave, Adam's parts department, service department at Smith Haven Dodge you guys ROCK! More

Buyer BEWARE!!! Based on my experience, Smith Haven Ram is the worst kind of dealership. Nice to your face, then they will try to sneak around behind you and take your wallet. The salesman I dealt with was great...very nice, and straight forward. However, once the "sales manager" got himself involved, it became clear what kind of establishment Smith Haven really was. He was very slick. Craftily, they baited me by bringing me back into the dealership with promises (written) of the deal we had worked on for a little more than a week, then once there, switched me from a 2015, to a leftover 2014 truck at the last minute. Classic move! Then, after finalizing our deal and running my credit, he made up totally different numbers and put them on the buy order!!! He told me I wasn't entitled to the manufacturer's end of the year rebates/incentives, and tried to sneak another fee passed me, after telling me to my face that there were absolutely NO MORE fees. (As if the fee they charge for "storing all their files and paperwork at an offsite location" wasn't absurd enough!) The best was when I told the salesman that the numbers were all wrong, the "sales manager" came back with the same fantasy buy order, and said, "I just need you to sign this real quick, then we can get your truck prepped and get you on your way". Like I would magically sign the made up buy order for him, when I refused to sign it for my salesman?! At best, his actions were deceptive and dishonest. I guess he thought I wouldn't catch him? Or maybe he thought I wouldn't dare walk away from a deal after 3.5 torturous hours at the dealership? (Another classic old time trick...keep the customer there for as long as possible and wear them down). Did he think I wouldn't disappoint my son who excitedly sat with me through the whole ordeal? Whatever the case, he was wrong. I caught him, and I walked. The general manager later pretended to care about my experience, but never bothered to actually speak to me. A few rounds of phone tag, and he lost interest. He "investigated" by speaking with his "sales manager" and declared that he was "on the up and up". Be very aware folks! Do not let your guard down for one second in that place. They will try every trick in the dirty car salesman book. More

Typical over promise, underdeliver scummy dealer Agree on a price and confirm via phone and email, make appointment with said salesperson. Show up at dealer and find the individual was impersonating sales but was in business development, and never in fact spoke to the manager about accepting my offer for a vehicle. Show up for appointment and this person isn't even there. Dealer refused to honor accepted offer. Ended up buying the car there since I was so exhausted dealing with lying salespeople all over. They were kind enough to add an undiscussed $200 prep fee for the crappiest car wash I've ever seen despite request for no prep. 2 hours of waiting and the salesperson that sold me the car forgot who I was and asked if I needed help looking for a vehicle. Amazing a business that treats its customers this poorly stays in business, but they sell 30 cars on an average weekend so if you won't buy one, there are 29 others that will. Would prefer to pay 10% more than go to this dump again. Hope I can forget the experience or I'll hate the car for 10 years. More

You get copies of everything and they call to check that all is well with you and your new or used vehicle. I highly recommend them and the service this place provides. More
