Best Experience Ever!! Yesterday I purchased a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland from Smithhaven dealership. Out of all of my experiences I've ever had in purchasing a new c Yesterday I purchased a 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland from Smithhaven dealership. Out of all of my experiences I've ever had in purchasing a new car (probably 8-10 in my lifetime) this was without a doubt the BEST experience ever! I can't even put into words how wonderful it was, from the moment we pulled in the lot and were greeted by Dean (asst. manager) to our salesperson Alex Johnson, to our Finance person Adam - we were treated with the highest level of customer service ever, patience, respect, helpfulness, friendliness - I could go on and on!! We were at the dealer from open to close and never once experienced stress or a negative interaction. No matter what we asked or no matter what challenge we faced them with - multiple test drives, changing our minds multiple times, moving cars from the back row of car lots, issues with out of state documentation, insurance, etc., etc. they handled every single request and issue with the highest level of service - never in a condescending or shaming way which is so common at dealerships, but they actually handled everything with an attitude of servanthood and joy. Alex Johnson was without a doubt the BEST salesperson I've ever dealt with in purchasing anything, not just cars! His attitude was 100%++++ customer service and He truly was a blessing to work with, beyond what we could ever imagine. Alex never ever became frustrated with all of our requests, and he explained everything on the car after we purchased it. It was the first time I ever left a dealer after purchasing a car actually knowing how to work everything on it and not being afraid to ask as many questions as I could think of. The majority of our other car purchases have been Mercedes Benz -- and in comparison to Smithhaven and Alex rating a 100 -- they would rate about a 1! Adam our finance person was so helpful, respectful, courteous, caring and handled everything with such integrity and excellence. Again, I've never experienced that before from a Finance person at a dealership. Everyone who interacted with us at the dealership actually cared about us and genuinely wanted us to have a good experience. SO to summarize, if you are looking to have the most positive experience possible in purchasing a new car, and actually enjoy doing it, I strongly recommend that you go to Smithhaven dealership and work with Alex Johnson. It will definitely be the best auto purchase experience of your life!! More

I was in search of a once in a lifetime surprise gift for my husband's 60th birthday and it had to be the perfect gift at the right price. My search went on for months until I found this wonderful personable salesman at this dealership who earned my trust as he took on the challenge of working with me and he was determined to make my experience special and far exceeded all of my expectations. Not only did Lewis Reidel my salesman from this dealership find me exactly what my husband dreamed of (which was not easy), his level of customer service and care was beyond all dealerships I had visited in Long Island over the past few months. I had an amazing experience and despite my work and travel schedule he made it convenient. I will be sending my family and friends to my favorite salesman and friend at this great dealership - best in Long Island! Lewis introduced me to Bill the Finance manager and I had a great experience; Bill listened to me and helped me and they truly treated me like family. I would send my mom here. Today, my husband personally thanked Lewis by phone after he received his gift and I look forward to bringing my husband to the dealership. I must say that I was definitely very nervous and reluctant to make a purchase of a lifetime for my husband on my own as a woman, however that was not at all the case here. I really felt at home with my new friend Lewis as he introduced me to his dealership and all of his coworkers at the dealer and he truly made my husband's dream come true. More

Warranty Purchase a 2014 Ram 1500 pickup. Went to Smith Haven wnven though I recently moved to the south shore since I purchased three other vehicles previous Purchase a 2014 Ram 1500 pickup. Went to Smith Haven wnven though I recently moved to the south shore since I purchased three other vehicles previously. I returned for an oil change and a warranty issue with my side steps. The side steps crome were blistering by the by the step pad. They took a picture and sent it Chrysler. Chrysler care called me and email me for weeks claiming they couldn't get in touch with any service rep. When they did make contact they made to resubmit photos. Then after weeks Chrysler care called me and advises me that the dealership claim the the blistering was normal wear. I complain to them and told them I was going to a local dealer for a second opinion. I brought the truck to Atlantic Chrysler they resubmit the pictures and within two weeks I had my new steps install no problem. I would definitely recommend Atlantic Chrysler. Not only did they handle and resolve my problem. They kept me inform and treated me as their customer. Much better result then the dealership were I bought my truck from More
