This was only the second time in my life ( I'm 72 years old) that I visited a car/truck dealership and not only encountered absolutely NO sales pressu This was only the second time in my life ( I'm 72 years old) that I visited a car/truck dealership and not only encountered absolutely NO sales pressure but made new friends AND bought a great truck at a fair price. I visited Hometown Motors in Weiser Idaho and found the perfect Dodge diesel Ram 2500 series truck and drove it home the same day. The staff that I worked with, Tyler, Steve and Dave were friendly and knowledgable about the product they were selling as well as doing so in the most NON PRESSURE way. I looked around the lot at all of the trucks they had for sale, and only then did I actually meet the sales folks. This first contact was initiated by me and as I walked into the sales office I immediately felt comfortable and was ready to talk business. After asking numerous questions about the truck that I wanted, we drove it. We came back to the sales office, worked out the $ issue and after only a couple hours I left for home in my new truck. They had the exact Shelby GT 500 Convertible I was looking for, but I also needed above and beyond customer service to convince me to travel 3/4 of the way across the country to buy it from a Dealership and a Sales guy I had never heard of... in a State I had never visited. My numerous emails/texts, and phone calls with Kay convinced me that I had found the right car at the right Dealership. This was a BIG DEAL to me, and had to go "just right", or I would have quickly moved on to somewhere else. EVERYONE I came into contact there during my visit to inspect and test drive was super nice and professional.
