This is my first dealings with Smedley Chevrolet! My daughter and I were treated like we were family. They put us in a used car that absolutely suited my daughter and her families needs. DO NOT SELL YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS DEALER! ! FULL OF EMPTY PROMISES AND DONT WANT TO PAY ONCE THERE! We had listed our vehicle on Facebook marketplace for sale. A salesman from this dealer cont ! FULL OF EMPTY PROMISES AND DONT WANT TO PAY ONCE THERE! We had listed our vehicle on Facebook marketplace for sale. A salesman from this dealer contacted me about purchasing and made a fair offer. We had already found our replacement vehicle so we were going to trade it in to our dealer, then the dealer sell it to this dealer. Everything was agreed and fine. I was scheduled to drop the vehicle off and pick ul the check on a Saturday. They had poor communication up to this point, so I contacted on Friday the day before to clarify I was dropping off and picking up a check for the dealer we traded it to. They said they needed my fiancé with me as the vehicle was in her name. We had to change some plans to have her with me, but we loaded up our 8 month old son and made it work. Only to get there (3 hour drive) and them tell us they can’t give us the check, the selling dealer needed to be there…. Mind you I called the day before to clarify who and what needed to be there. I promised to get some paperwork done over the weekend and overnight a check on Monday. Monday comes and goes and no check is cut. They insisted on seeing the vehicle title before sending a check, which our dealer was waiting on as there was a lien on that they paid off and waiting to receive title. Fast forward 10 days of waiting and my dealer receives the title. Sends over copies of the title to the dealer to get the check coming and what do ya know…. That’s not good enough. Keep in mind they do have possession of the vehicle and have not paid anything for it. The made my dealer go and title it in their name (another almost week wait) before they would cut them a check. So almost a MONTH after they were supposed to pay for a vehicle, it was finally paid for.. this place is full of excuses and empty promises. Absolutely bad business and will not recommend to anyone! More
