This was the first new car that I have ever bought and I have heard horror stories about buying a new car. I was a little nervous so I brought my brother with me and together we agreed that this was the best car dealership that either one of us had ever been to. Dana was very thorough explaining all the finer details and was very nice. She was very patient and understanding with me, as this was my first new car purchase ever. She did not rush me, even though I know that she was very busy and had a full schedule. Never, with Mike, Dana Racker, or Jonanna, the girl who showed me the inside/outside of my car, did I ever feel like I was bothering them or hassling them in any way. They were all excited to answer my questions and help in any way that they could. I took a picture of my car and Mike because that's how great of an experience this was. Great guy! After the first counter, sales manager Mark Heckel walks along with our sales guy and doesn't even introduce himself to us and the first thing he says is "thank you for your business lets not waste the sales guys time" And, then looks at the sales guy and asks him if this vehicle is still on the lot to make it look like someone is in there willing to pay that extra 700 on this vehicle which I test drove 30 mins ago. Seriously!!! Are you kidding me ? He was reading my body language and tried to lowball me and test my patience. My wife was embarrassed for his behavior. I was making 30k down payment and would have happily met them in the middle but the fact that Mark acted like a jerk. They lost my deal. No wonder they have only 41 reviews with 3.8 rating over the years. I should have gone to Wilde Toyota (4.8/1917 reviews) in the first place who is a volume dealer and challenges to beat any counter offer from local dealers. Too bad that car was sitting on their lot for over 3 weeks. I'll be never buying any vehicle from here. More

Horrible experience, will never go to this dealership ever and i would not recommend anyone going there because they are going to rob you blind. I had an appointment at 7:30a for 90k routine maintenance ever and i would not recommend anyone going there because they are going to rob you blind. I had an appointment at 7:30a for 90k routine maintenance check because i had my engine light on and was due for the check up due to the miles. I was told that it was going to be $121 over the phone and Service employee Alan Reichert said yeah and agreed in person. They printed out a sheet that estimates $241. I went back to Reichert and said that its suppose to be $121 with the check and he said it was and then said that price was an estimate. When all said and done at 10am. I was charged $247 dollars. I was charged for $120 for a diagnostic did not ask for and the rest was for maintenance. When i tried to argue about the price i paid, he said the only thing he could do was give me a 10% discount to make it $226. The diagnostic test was to check the light and the reason why the light went off is because i a crack in my gas cap. I paid $226 dollars for maintenance, a diagnostic test and a gas cap for $226. I have a respectable job and i going to professional about this situation and share it with everyone. Poor customer service, $196 of my total was labor and all they did was do a basic check, top and changed my oil and gave me a gas cap, lol for a 150min wait(checked in at 7:25a). Go to Lancaster toyota if you dont wanna get ripped off and dont get service by Alan Reichart. More
Took my truck to toyota for an alignment. They said everything was good to go. Paid the bill....two days later my alignment was bad. took it back to them. They had my truck for 3 hours and then told everything was good to go. Paid the bill....two days later my alignment was bad. took it back to them. They had my truck for 3 hours and then told me that some camber bolts were bad and i need to buy new bushings and a new control arm ($900 total)...... I complained...so the next day they told me to drop of my truck to see what they could do.... 7hours later now both my left and right control arms need to be replace with a number of bolts and bushings. It's funny how all of those "bad" parts were overlooked the first time i dropped my car off for an alignment and they gave it back to me saying "everythings good" and took my money... Still looking to get a refund from the first alignment and now they want nothing to do with me. They also managed to get my inside door panel full of grease. I wonder why dealerships get a bad rap! More
Even as pricey as it was, and being an inexperienced buyer, the dealers did help in finding a good enough purchase. Problem I've had with them is that I bought a car with 96k miles on it. everything checked out, did diagnostics had a scratch on right hand rear bumper, they couldn't do/wouldn't do much about that. All the tiny cosmetic faults aside, I had to get a battery change a week back because the battery in the vehicle, a 2006 Camry, was the original, Factory battery. Meaning the vehicle with near 100,000 miles on it, driven in WI/IL, and later sold to me after their supposed "mechanic check", still had the ORIGINAL BATTERY. most batteries, in the midwest, are expected to last 2~4 years. that was 7 years plus the winter conditions. i had a good opinion of them until i found this out, and it's conveniently just beyond the Lemon law. (coincidence that I got a warranty expiration notice about a month before battery went dead? I think not.) More

Tyler at Smart Motors Toyota literally made our vehicle dreams come true. For over a year we have used Smart Toyota for renting cars and the occasional SUV and we have had nothing but out standing service dreams come true. We have always been treated with respect and dignity and have never got the run around while dealing with this company. When we realized that we needed an extra car in our family, our first thought was to go to Smart Motors Toyota. We were immediately greeted with friendly service. And although our credit was not 100% and we still were treated with dignity and respect and Tyler went above and beyond to make sure that we got the car we always wanted since first renting the Toyota Highlander. We simply called Tyler and told him exactly what we were looking for and what we were willing to pay per month and within an hour Tyler had a car for us and approved financing with a creditable bank with payments $80 less than we expected. The whole transition was smooth, easy, stress free and quick. We will ALWAYS do business with Smart Toyota in the future. They will be the only car dealership to get our business. We have told everyone we come in contact with about Tyler and Smart Toyota. We look forward to doing business again with them. THANKS TYLER AND SMART MOTORS TOYOTA! More
