I tried calling to make an appointment for an oil change but was told by the recording to leave a message and I would be called back. It didn't happen. I was then referred to David who did an excellent job of working me into the schedule that morning. The next time I need service I will contact David and am confident that there will be no problem setting up an appointment. I'm very grateful that he will be my contact in the future. More
Typically service is very good, but this visit a 90 minute wait to complete a scheduled oil change which seemed to be an excessive wait time for an oil change. ?Over booking? Waiting room is under construction & due to pandemic, I brought a chair to wait outside which didn’t enhance a patient wait.. I also requested a car wash that was not done. Josh wore his mask during interactions but when I entered the office area to pay my bill several workers were not wearing a mask, including the person seated next to Josh (within 6 feet). Also hand sanitizer in this area would have been appreciated. More

I’m not satisfied with smart Honda service team. They change me $ 709 for regular service just cut one key and programming and power outage repair. I’m so sad for this with 2 day of service . My Mistake . Thought I marked the top ranking...Smart Honda is the BEST, and I would never go anywhere else. Smart Honda of Des Moines, IA is a topnotch dealership. I recently purchased a new 2020 CRV and had a exceptional experience. Clay Olson, Sales Consultant, found what I wanted and helped me understand and operate some of the "new to me" features. Honda continues to make their CRV's an incredible and safe vehicle to drive. Matt Ehmke, Business Manager, and I found lots in common, and had a fun time spending my money. I could not recommend any dealership that I respect any more, and I have dealt with many across the state of Iowa. The next step is to get a quality service manager, and I am fortunate that Josh Zeigler has taken me under his wing. Thank you, Smart Honda for taking the stress out of buying a new car. More

Service center people should learn phone manners and not be so rude. I realize a remodel is underway but not being able to wait at the dealership for a simple oil change shows a demonstrable lack of planni be so rude. When I called for an oil change appointment the lady who answered was rude and wouldn't accept the fact that I live out of town and didn't have anywhere I could just go since they aren't allowing anyone to wait for service. I'm about done with Smart Honda! More
