Leasing and an Upside Down Trade In So, I made the mistake of going from a Honda to a Mazda in my leasing... I liked the Mazda vehicle, but when it came time for my lease to be up, they So, I made the mistake of going from a Honda to a Mazda in my leasing... I liked the Mazda vehicle, but when it came time for my lease to be up, they wanted me to pay them $3000 because my car was not worth what I still owed on the lease and they also added money to fix the small scratches that are normal wear and tear. When I had purchased it, they said they give @1000 forgiveness for things that need fixing when you turn you vehicle back in. I went back to Honda, they showed me how I was upside down on my previous lease, and said, well, at least that will not happen to you here. They then gave me such a great deal it took care of my worries about my trade in. They did not try to play games with me or use my fear of not getting out of the leased vehicle to pressure me at all. I then remembered why my husband and I have purchased 5 vehicles from them in the past! I wont be straying away again. More

I explained my dilemma to service advisor, David Sysombath, and stated that I wanted to discuss these options with sales consultant, Lou Castillo, since I had previously purchased 3 cars from Lou. David, kindly and willingly, accommodated my request, and Lou spent considerable time with me explaining the pros and cons of buying vs. leasing, keeping my 2016 Honda or taking the plunge for a new car, while we test-drove a 2019 CRV. Next, I met with Katie Oswalt, business manager, regarding financing and found her to be professional, helpful, and people-oriented. Later that afternoon, I drove home in a new red, sparkling 2019 Honda EXL CRV, and I couldn't be more pleased with my decision. Compared to my 2016 Honda, the 2019 has such upgraded technology. Lou set up all of the technical features with explanations, and then incorporated hands-on learning by having me reset the features to my own liking. In my opinion, Lou understands the importance of building positive relationships with others. He is extremely knowledgeable, intelligent, mechanical, patient, caring, empathetic, kind, and utilizes these strengths to guide his clients to make sensible decisions based on their automobile needs.
