All I had to do was bind insurance coverage, fill out the paperwork and present payment. The next day the salesperson picked me up and drove me to the dealership where he handed me the keys to my newly registered smart. He also took the time to educate me about all the buttons and switches so I could start enjoying the vehicle immediately. More
I'd been fascinated with Smart cars ever since I saw the first one on the road. Very recently I moved back to the city and thought this tiny little car would be great for maneuvering and parking in the the first one on the road. I visited your dealership without an appointment and spoke with the representative sitting at the desk, who happened to be Alisha. She was friendly and informative. She walked my fiance and I around the showroom and gave us a lot of information about Smart Cars. We sat to discuss a purchase but, for some reason I wasn't ready to buy just yet. Alisha thanked us for our time. She remained very friendly, even though we walked out without purchasing a vehicle. Shortly after this I visited another Smart Car showroom. At this dealership, although we had made an appointment, there was no one available to speak with us. We saw salespeople all over the floor but we were not approached or even greeted. We left after half an hour, never having spoken to anyone. One more time we returned to Somerville. Again, it was Alisha sitting at the desk and she remembered us from the previous visit. She asked a lot of questions about preferences and we test drove a vehicle. Alisha found me the perfect used, low mileage vehicle with all the bells and whistles I hadn't expected to get. She took care of all the paperwork and preparation. We returned the next day to pick up the vehicle. It's a great little city car and uses so little gas I've only filled up twice since the purchase in early December. I think purchasing a Smart car was a great idea. Came in on a holiday weekend - but got "full service" from Kindy and the rest of the folks at the Smart Center. We have parking permits/stickers where I live - so swapping a car can create a bit of a nightmare - as you need all your paperwork squared away before the city will give you a new sticker. Kindy and the team were great - and they spent a lot of time on the phone with my insurance carrier to save me a couple of extra trips. As part of this sale, I traded in an older vehicle. I checked Kelly/Edmunds before I went in - and the trade-in manager gave us a fair and reasonable trade in value. So - one week in and we are very happy with the car, and very happy with the dealer. If you are looking for a smartcar - I suggest you give Kindy a call and see when she might bring Romeo (jack russell terrier) in.... he's worth a trip alone! More

I have been looking at the smart vehicles for over a year, thinking that I would like to get one. I initially went in just for a test-drive, but I was immediately hooked on the car. Todd Whitelaw was my year, thinking that I would like to get one. I initially went in just for a test-drive, but I was immediately hooked on the car. Todd Whitelaw was my sales rep, and he did a really marvelous job of introducing the the car to me. He was intelligent, friendly and persuasive, but not in a pushy or offensive way. I asked a lot of questions, both relevant and whimsical, and he answered patiently. What impressed me particularly was that he admitted when he did not know the answer, unlike many sales people in the automotive business. Though my decision to buy the car during the first visit surprised me as impulsive at the time, I am delighted with the car and have no regrets whatever. Todd and the other staff have been uniformly helpful and courteous, and made the process of buying a car an enjoyable one. More
