I went to test drive a new 2011 Mazdaspeed 3 at Smail. Ralph was very helpful and knowledgeable about the car and let me take it on a good test drive. It was one of the cars on my list to check out and I was able to do this right at Smail for a back-to-back comparison. Minus the awd of the Subaru, the Mazda was the obvious choice for me. I purchased a Mazda3 in 2009 through Smail Mazda, I wasnt overly excited about the experience, but it wasnt THAT bad either. When I wanted a Mazda6, I went to Smail and spoke with the same salesman that I p overly excited about the experience, but it wasnt THAT bad either. When I wanted a Mazda6, I went to Smail and spoke with the same salesman that I purchased my Mazda3 through. Smail is non-negotiable or wiling to work with you to get you what you want. I told them what I was willing to pay and they kept coming back higher and higher. They also never once offered to allow me to test drive a car. The exact car that I wanted was at another dealership, however they did have a couple of similar cars on the lot. I left Smail without making a sale. Later that evening the salesman called and again tried to offer me a sale. They initially started out giving me LESS for my trade than it was worth and wouldnt budge on that either. Finally I contacted the dealership who had the car I was looking for, they were only a few miles away...I now have the car I wanted, a lower payment then I was asking for and I will never go back to Smail!
